trisha talking about how she sees her 19 year old self in tana and how it’s gonna mess up her mental health in the future is so sad. but it’s so true and its a good thing that trisha has now realized she was being “used and abused” (as she said) and can educate others on it
@aleigh8053 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've been saying this for a few years, I just don't have internet clout. One day in the future (days are long, but years are short - &the future will be here very fast) Tana is going to look back and regret so much. And the regret will be compounded by guilt and anxiety and it will slowly eat her into a depressive state where she is second-guessing every decision she ever made to the point where she won't even be able to focus on the present or future. It will consume her and by the time she gets help to mentally stabilize herself, she will be depressed all over again at how long and how much effort it takes to attempt to reverse the damage. Alot of which, in some extent, is connected to being reckless and negligent. And one day, she will have to face herself and struggle with drawing a line between self-blame and self-care. And it will create way bigger of a mess (internally)than all of these 'scandals' combined created. Because it's one thing to feel out of control of your surroundings... but it's completely different to feel out of control of your mind. You can escape your surroundings as an adult, but your mind follows you. She needs to chill and really start reflecting now.
@jimin85093 жыл бұрын
please i literally coming back to find the clip its so sad i wish tana would hear this
@morganscot20613 жыл бұрын
@William i see where you are coming from but tana being sexually taken advantage by older men, just like trisha went through, is a lot different than just being successful and people being jealous. don’t forget that. being sexually used and abused as a young woman isn’t gonna make you successful it’s gonna f*** up your mental health. trisha experienced that first hand and all she said was she sees it happening to tana and she DOESNT want THAT for her. not that she doesn’t want tana to be successful.
@dinmolle3 жыл бұрын
I went through the same thing as a teenager and it’s really true. You think it’s fine and that nothing can harm you if you just wait for it to be over. And then suddenly you’re thirty and have to go to therapy and struggle with everything. The harm that can be done to a teenager is devastating

Idk, I feel like it depends on the context. Also as Ethan said you don't just become an adult when the clock hits 12. Did she just turn 17? Or almost 18...? And if she is happy and healthy then who are we to judge? I remember they made a whole video together (Brendon and the girl) as a reply to Trisha saying they are both happy... then again power dynamics and 7 years is quite a big age gap. I think it's much more of a grey area topic but the internet prefers black and white. props to you keeping it legal. Welcome to my thinking out loud rant, chime in ;)

We all know that if Trisha is anything, it's loyal and after having two breakdowns on the podcast and having H3 not demonize her for it coupled with their ardent defense of her from Shane, Ryland, and especially Jeffree I think is affirming her trust in them. @@sarahdiamond1999 exactly what it sounds like, I don’t remember the details but I’m sure if you looked thru the Internet you’d find details about the incident .

@@sarahdiamond1999 Ethan and Hila have been swatted twice. The second time it happened it was SO bad. The guy literally timed it so that just as Ethan and Hila with their NEWBORN baby got off the plane home they would have been gunned down. The guy who did it was arrested and was baisically a nazi so it was really traumatising for them and they moved house

The thing that i love about this podcast, is that its named 'Frenemies' but Ethan is probably the most positive friend Trisha's ever had. He tells her the truth & is always upfront with her.

Trisha, THESE are your people! The traits and characteristics that you value in friendships, the ones that you thought Shame Dawson possessed for the last 12 years, like loyalty, empathy, honesty, and acceptance...NONE OF WHICH Shame Dawson possesses...Ethan and Hila have proven they own through their actions. Despite saying abhorrent things to their faces, making videos about them because you were triggered, and even walking out during a podcast, they keep welcoming you back and accept you, flaws and all...and Ethan didn't even flinch when it came time to stand up for you, and he did left zero doubts that he's Team Trisha! I know Shame Dawson really hurt you...but I would rather see you cut your losses with that loser and focus on the positive people in your life. And when Ethan annoys you, maybe try and cut him a fraction of the slack you cut Shame 'cause in the short time you've known Ethan, he's already been ten times the friend Shame was to you. Just something to think about. 😊 Love and aloha from Honolulu!
