You know the old saying "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me". I think we need to go back to that time...teach our kids not to put so much stock into name calling. If you walk around waiting for someone to wrong you, you will find it even if it is just perceived. I tell my grandkids the bullies do not matter, quit giving them the power to upset you and hurt your feelings. My grandson spent time in the school bathroom because other kids called him short and gay. Everyone is saying the same thing: “People will be mad!” But doesn’t that prove his point-that people get triggered by the wrong words, or by NOT using the right words? Like you said, it’s beyond satire. It’s very “raw” social commentary, but also very sophisticated because of the examples he uses, and because he goes to the heart of the matter, like he did in his last video, but he’s actually pointing to the source in a more direct way now.
