I think this track is based around the protests surrounding George Floyd in Minneapolis - prof was in the heart of the action. The house next door to his burned down. He was riding round with his homies trying to protect local business. Prof is a true gem.

The footage is NOT taken in Louisiana. It is from Minneapolis, Minnesota during the George Floyd riots (where he was killed). You can even see MPLS police precinct on fire. Prof is from and lives in Minneapolis. In the song he's basically saying he's about to leave MPLS and go to Louisiana. I live in the area too and been following Prof for over a decade!

I knew you would love this one!! Seeing the riots and unrest from the perspective of someone who lived in that neighborhood and had to deal with the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd in real time was very eye-opening. It was different watching all of it unfold on the tv. I listened to an interview he did, and he talked about how terrifying that time was. Especially since he had a brand new baby at home. The live version is my preference for all things Prof because he is so damn expressive. I truly appreciate you doing both videos in one!! 10:02 - I only watch/listen to this song when my favorite reactors encounter it for the first time. I lived in Portland, OR for the "Summer of Love" and my city burned for 100 nights. I could see the flames from my porch, when the mob got done with police stations they diverted into residential neighborhoods and began randomly attacking people. I now live in Baltimore and feel a lot safer here than the city where I grew up. It's insane what a corrupt Governor, Mayor, and District Attorney can do when a mob comes in and starts attacking businesses as well as government buildings. The DA refused to press charges, the Mayor tried to suck up to the invading domestic terrorists, and the Governor refused federal assistance. State Police backed off and refused to support Portland because it was catch and release.
