I dont think Ren speaks welsh? I might be wrong. Most people in wales dont speak it. It never quite died out in the mountains. Despite the best efforts of the English over centuries of oppression. This is the day Ren fell into psychosis from pain and despair when he had a bad reaction to yet another treatment. Six years into his illness. He has been sick and in pain fir 13 years now.

Then you get to analysing the lyrics, if you're not analysing Ren's lyrics, there's something wrong with you. To call him a wordsmith does NOT do him justice. THIS is why Ren has the following he has. He RES-O-NATES with the minds of the afflicted and affected, he reaches right into those locked boxes we've all got and undoes the locks on them. He's a trigger and a catalyst for the human condition. I can also see why he makes people so uncomfortable, both in AND out of the industry. This is the perfect opening track for the Sick Boi album. A forensic analysis of what it’s like to be trapped by illness and in constant pain. For Ren’s sick. I gotta say though… as Ren keeps growing and more people get to know him, the line “prophets get dropped imagining heaven” is sounding more and more foreboding. He is out there saving lives by giving us hope, inspiring positive change in the world, and asking us to look past our differences to come together as that is the only way he imagines us surviving as a species. So I’m from the uk and grew up very close to where ren did, when he says “god tied a noose to his neck and he jumped” he’s talking about his best friend that jumped off the menai bridge in menadywn (wales) also known as the suicide bridge. ren also suffers from Lyme disease, has since he was 12 I think and doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong untill recently which is why he spent 13 years in his bed, depressed and not moving, Lyme disease u get from ticks which is why he says “sick boy, bitten by a tick boy”
