My take of course is in the song he first says how he used to lets just say have the childhood mask on feeling safe and secure in the world then grew up to find out how bad the world really can be sometimes. pull the trigger give a bullet to a stranger referencing how people shoot and kill strangers they don't even know. he states I don't wanna die but i wont live in a place like this then proceeds to jump in the plane crashing it and sacrificing himself.
