@IndianaSimracer77 Ай бұрын
An adult conversation for something so minor would've come from within. Heim had no reason to be THAT pissed. I was at the race. Didn't see the initial rub but definitely saw Heim take swipes at Eckes under the yellow. Heim will either mature and become great, or his temper will ruin him. Fans are already displeased by his behavior. He embarrassed his sponsors and team at Phoenix last year. Just needs to mature as he gains experience and he'll definitely become quite a star.
@opperawesome1
@opperawesome1 Ай бұрын
@IndianaSimracer77 I agree that he has the potential to mature and manage the tempers better, regardless of how angry he was. Most young drivers overreact. At least he didn't throw a punch or hook him this time lol. That's where (IMO) sponsors start getting pissed. My overall point is that call/text messages make it feel similar to "breaking up with your girlfriend on the phone". Better face-to-face.

Eric, stating Hailie is “fearless” and thus deserves to be in a top three series (trucks, xfinity and cup) is a silly take. I can go to our quartermidget track and round up 30 “fearless” kids that don’t deserve a ride in NASCAR. Also, making the statement that Hailie has talent, with a treasure trove of data that argues against you, tells me either you are just trying to be a nice guy that doesn’t want to pile on or you are day drinking. 😂 Shoot it to us honestly, we respect it more. Deegan has been an ABJECT FAILURE in trucks and xfinity. She was not even a top competitor in ARCA. I believe she won three times in two years, in some of the best equipment in ARCA. Btw, her three wins came in a lower or regional ARCA series, ARCA WEST. A series that was not racing the best in ARCA had to offer week in and week out. So to conclude, ✅ Deegan won three races in two years in a division down from the top ARCA series. ✅ Deegan never raced in the top ARCA series championship division. ✅ Deegan did not do anything worth mentioning in her first year in trucks. Including zero wins. ✅ Deegan got a better ride with an established championship caliber team in he 2nd season in the truck series, and did nothing with it. Zero wins. She blamed the drivers for her lack of talent. ✅ Takes an xfinity ride where she is further exposed that her “talent” has limits. Ran in the back all year and was lucky to finish a race. So bad she was fired mid season. Btw, Zero wins. I was a huge supporter of hers coming into stock car racing. I wanted her to be the 1st competitive woman in racing in either of NASCAR’s top three divisions. She lost her way making KZbin videos instead of living in the shop. She played with her toys with her friends bc she never needed racing. She came from money and didn’t have to sleep on other racers couches. But that grind is NOT in her. She isn’t devoted to racing. And that is ok. She doesn’t have to. But let’s call her what she is, a complete bust than makes Danica look good.

Of course, we are biased Truex fans, but we would still leave Truex in at least tenth place of your power rankings. He always has a top 10 to top 5 car every week, it's just that bad luck always seems to grab him. Like last night, he passed 27 cars to get up to the top 10 and was even 4th at one point. It's just that the bad luck keeps hitting him like last year when the playoffs began. Hopefully he can regroup after this two week break and win Richmond like he should've won in the spring. 👍

He seemed disappointed after the last race that he was under the cutoff line still, but I hope he appreciates how much that gap has closed and does not dwell on where he thinks he should be by now. He needs to stay positive IMO. I found it funny last week after you told me you had more faith in Hamlin at Indy than Alex, and then they both got KO'd in the same wreck, and it was not the fault of either one of them. Seemed like Alex was trying to mimic his strategy for a bit which I thought would be good. Can't help people running into the wall in front of you I guess. Blah, I wish Haas would make the team name be Haas Automation Factory Team, but it's still a clumsy name. Hailie has shown she's really good on dirt in the SRX races. Idk, maybe she could do well in the Rally/Rally Cross or dirt track racing. I feel like drivers frequently go for the biggest money/most prestigious series and fail, when if they went to a series that is still a fairly big deal and can pay very well, they would be great deal and race for a long time.

Once Byron locks himself into the playoffs, that 24 team just starts experimenting with the car. The rest of the season until the playoffs start don’t matter so they use it as test and tune.

While I haven't searched too hard, I've not heard why CBell was scored 4th. Coming to take the checkered he was slowing greatly, probably fell outside the top 15 before crossing the line. And something you see from the stands you probably don't see on TV. Lajoie appeared down on power coming across the line but was blocking Austin Dillon who was clearly still under power. Lajoie crossed the line ahead of Dillon, and once across the line Dillon laid into the back of Lajoie. Gave several hard shots.

Nepotism always bothers me, but if it must exist the nepo-baby at least has to prove themselves. Custer has done everything required to get back to Cup. Gibbs too. I still don't like his attitude in general but he dominated Xfinity and he's a solid Cup driver. Unfortunately, NASCAR, and racing overall, is more prone to nepotism than other sports because of the expensive costs to compete.

I think Heim may be ready for Cup about the same time Hamlin is retiring. Imagine being Chandler Smith though. Leaving Chevy because he didn’t see a way forward, coming back to Toyota, and now I still don’t see a cup seat for him.

How is talking to another driver immediately after a race about an incident a concern for Corey Heim, plenty of drivers do it its just that this time its between the top two contenders so of course there would be cameras. Oh no he made people more interested in the truck series because he was mad and wanted to talk to the guy who cut down his tire. Maybe we should be criticizing Christian Eckes instead for causing the incident in the first place.

Hailie Deegan to Haas Xfinity team makes sense. Both Hailie and Haas have a strong affiliation with Monster Energy. Change the name above the door on the 98 and the car is track ready. They need to team her with a veteran driver that can help her though.

After 23/11 spends millions, they have to get it back somehow and hiring a rookie driver with money behind him, while not paying him much for a few years is the way to do it. Then go after a top notch driver. This is why they keep Wallace on.

I feel like logano should be in there instead of Bubba, as a ligano fan, I don't like Wallace, so there is a little bias there, but I have my reasons. Yes, Logano did wreck which ultimately ended his day, and did almost get lapped by Wallace, but Logano did show a lot of momentum throughout the race, he was running close to, and inside the top ten a lot of the time while he was still competitive. Not only just the top 10. he also ran top 5 at times. I'm just saying. My power rankings. 1. Larson 2. Blaney 3. Reddick 4. Bell 5. Elliott 6. Hamlin 7. Keselowski 8. Logano 9. Byron 10. Bowman
