I am really liking the new TL-1. it does everything the old one did and faster. Yes we have the TBAS. with A2-6 adapter.

How are you finding the new version TL lathe versus your old one Nathan? have you got A2-6 back plates for the tru-bore made up yet?

Awesome part! At 1:20 in the video, I think we're watching both the main spindle as well as the tool holder spin, is that correct? If so, what kind of toolholder can be "live" in the TL1?

It is a rotary broach driven by the main spindle. This is what cuts the hex Drive in the end of the bolt.

Nicely done, how are you controlling the collet closer with the control? added solenoid?

Yes spare M functions and solenoid valves.

Dorian tool made this one. I believe they discontinued them, double check though. I build one similar specifically for rifle building as it has a built-in adjustable reamer holder on one end. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHiTgIBmq6yib5I
