Thank for the video, my drill was out to modify the brackets but after adjusting them as you showed they clipped on no problem. I readjusted the gaps after and it’s perfect.

I have had so many problems putting together my brand new blaze LTE+ 40" 5 burner. One of the nutserts was missing as I went to attach the bottom hinge. What poor quality control. I called blaze.....took 2 days to return my call. They suggested I use a lock nut that fits the screw. I found it virtually impossible to hold that particular screw due to the configuration of the grill. So I thought....screw it....I'll just hope it holds with 2 screws. Frustrated, I called Blaze again. Their mailbox was full. Cn you imagine that!!!!!???? A company that makes $2-$6,000 dollar grills having an operation like that....unbelievable. Then, I attempted to attach the doors. I'm not handy...I've never attached a door on a grill like this. It is your job to make a video where I can actually see what you are doing. So, here's my takeaway in just the first few days: 1) How did this leave the factory with that missing nutsert? This means poor initial quality, and very poor final inspection. 2) It takes 2 days to return a call!!! Really??? 3) I got a tip for the people that handle the phones....return a phone call within 24 hours. Kills two birds with one stone....First, that's at least reasonable customer service. Second, your "mailbox won't be full". 4) Very poor instructional video. I'm not being a jerk here. Just watch your video. Once I somehow get past the doors, I'm scared to death to see what I'll find wrong with the burners, etc!!! Wow.....maybe I should have bought a Weber or a Napoleon?

Hi there... I apologize for the frustration. Hopefully I can put your mind at ease and explain our manufacturing process. I'll address your concerns, as listed, so we can hope to resolve any current or future issues. 1 - The carts come out of our California factory. They are built, essentially, with robotic arms on a machine that is fully automated. I don't want to make excuses, but it is an automated system that runs, continually, all day. Product is spot checked but it's challenging to put eyes on every accessory. Occasionally, nut-serts are punched straight through the stainless steel. Normally, a missing nut-sert, here or there, won't effect the structural integrity but it sounds like you're missing one that holds the hinge in place. We can send a replacement panel if you'd like. I'll make sure that gets immediate attention if you'd like us to send you one. 2 - Generally we pride ourselves in the fact that getting a hold of a person doesn't usually take that long. Again, no excuse, but I can tell you that June is historically our busiest month. It's the height of our busy season and the last month of the quarter so all departments tend to get a little slammed. 3 - ties in with #2. 4 - Making these videos is something I do on my own time, with very few resources. My job, at Blaze, is to visit dealers, nationwide, and keep them current on training and new products. I started making these videos after I'd hear questions on assembly or troubleshooting various issues. I often go back and refine and update these videos, as needed. In fact the hinge video is one that's on the list of needed updates. Finally, the grill itself. Our grills come out of a different factory and undergo an entirely different manufacturing and QC process. Every grill is fire tested and certified. That being said, we still recommend a leak test after initial install. They travel a long ways, between factory, Blaze warehouse, distributor warehouse and, eventually, to the customer. I'll be happy to discuss any of this, further, if you'd like. I'm very passionate about what I do. I know I'm putting myself out there for negative comments and reviews, simply by having this KZbin channel. ....Something I do on a 100% voluntary basis. Please don't hesitate to reply with any further concerns and questions. Thanks for taking the time to read my response.

@@grillingwithjimbo Jim, thank you for your complete and thoughtful reply. I really do appreciate it. First, the bosses need to invest in helping you design a complete video instructional series. That is simple common sense in business. You should not have to do that by yourself. If they won't invest in that....shame on them!!! I finally got the doors in. I'm now just about to put the actual grill on the cart. I'm amazed their are absolutely no instructions regarding attaching the hose, the lighting and transformer, etc. A few basic diagrams and pictures would help a ton. Believe me, I have already mentioned to Dan Iverson.....the cart assembly manual needs a huge overhaul. I commend you for doing this all on your own. I think it;s terrible they don't give you more support! Jim, any pointers, other than what's in the video, regarding the lighting and natural gas connection? Thanks again for your help. Get them to give YOU more support! They charge enough for their grills....they should be able to afford it!!! Do you have an email address I could send questions to? Thank you! -Bob in St. Louis

Hi Jim - I am assembling a BLZ5CART (5 burner cart) and I was able to get the right hand door hung with just a bit of trouble - I had to adjust the hang on both hinges out a bit to get them to even line up to the bar, but once I did it's working fine. However the left hand door looks like it has different hinges mounted to the door. They are a good half inch away from the mounts in the side panel. When I look at the hinges themselves they don't even look the same as the ones on the right door. Is there perhaps two types and mine has the wrong one? I can take photos if that would help. By the way the assembly instructions on the Blaze site include instructions on how to adjust the soft close hinges, but still refer to the magnets and pin hinges in the assembly part. I figured out the hinges myself but your video is very helpful in confirming I did do it right. Now if you can help me on the mismatched hinges I'd be grateful. Thanks!

Hi there…. Well, I must say, sometimes I’m convinced that things like this happen when the late shift at the factory hasn’t had enough sleep lol. I believe the quickest way to answer this will be to reach out to our tech team. I’m sure they’ll ask for pictures. You could try calling but email will probably get the fastest response. www.blazegrills.com/contact-us/. They’ll get you in the right direction. As far as our manuals, it’s always a work in progress. When a rolling change happens it usually takes a couple drafts to get caught up. Thanks for catching that. Most people don’t even look at them. I’ll definitely forward that info to right people, to get that corrected.

Jim, thanks a bunch. I have already also sent an email via the link above and hope to hear a response soon, hopefully Monday. I'm tempted to go ahead and finish setting up the grill without the door as the door does not seem to be a structurally important component and get to grilling! I know it was easier for me to install the right door when the cart was open at the top, but the clips should still be easy to engage and adjust even with only front access. Should I just be patient and wait or do you think I'll be OK installing the door later once we get this sorted out? Anyway, thanks again and I'm happy if I helped a little with assembly instruction QC 🙂

This cart is the biggest piece of trash for $700. Broken robots and the doors won’t snap on. Mega thin material
