What do you think of Habdan? It's amazing! Also...FIRST.

Yup, sort of a sweet woods dry down. I like it

I really like it as well. I purchased Habdan and Herod on the same order. Needless to say I'm a bit of a fanboy of PDM now.

Thanks Daver for your take on Habdan. This was a solid back and forth video. Enjoyed.

Habdan is my favorite of all the PDM fragrances I have tried. I haven't had the chance to try nearly them all and relly want to check out Layton Exclusif next.

I was deciding between Habdan and Oajan and ended up getting Oajan. They’re different but I felt that Habdan was something in between Herod and Oajan. I already have Herod and felt that Oajan goes with it better. I generally didn’t like the dry down of Habdan that much.

How does oajan smell like ? does it have ambery note cause I love this note.

Oajan smells amazing. My own knees get weak when I smell it on me. I have not smelled Habdan. This is the comment I was lookin for

I love Habdan. I just received my decant of Layton Exclusif. Thank you Scent Split, I couldn't afford it otherwise. First impression is that Layton Exclusif is very good. I am not sure I will love it as much as Habdan, but we will see.

It still sounds like a very intriguing scent. I would love to try this one out.

Ugh Habdan is GORGEOUS. Beautiful, fizzy, almost thieves oil/pepsi cola vibe to it. It’s so beautiful. One of the very best scents ever. Super unique imo. Performance could be a llllllittle 👌🏼 better but... really, it’s great and lasts on clothes for DAYS! So always make sure to get in on the shirt collar.

Guys not all middle eastern fragrances are thick and heavy, yes some are, but to your surprise you may find that there are a lot that are very light and floral (almost feminine) or very sweet if you explore other houses. For example Widian Gold by AJ Arabia.

Hey Daver, great review! How does this compare against By Kilian Apple Brandy?

Damn how you leave fragmental hanging for 3 years.

"It's apples & oranges?" Don't you mean it's apples & caramel." :D But seriously, Habdan is a keeper...myrrh, frankincense and caramel apple pie...what's not to love!!! Also, if your co-bros. is complaining about only getting 4-5 hours of projection...well, he's got nothing to complain about. If he wasn't a Parfums de Marly that kill kick 'n scream...tell him to try Oajan. Enjoyed. Oh, the one issues I had when I first tried Habdan a couple years ago was that it confused my nose in that this fragrance couldn't make up its mind whether it was an incense or gourmand fragrance. But it does a great job of walking that fine-line where both camps should like or love it.

no, it's a British saying meaning; different takes or styles =) What do you get on 1st spray?

Love Habdan! It was my first PdM fragrance and it's just amazing! Also have Herod and I really like it too, but Habdan is more unique. So far, haven't had any compliment, but that's a detail. The scent is absolutely gorgeous and that's what really matters!

This is nice, but the projection seemed to fade like Ben had said. It's a nice scent, but the least of my favorites from this house so far solely based of its performance.

Totally agree with Ben's description. Incense is kindof iffy on me and can go either way (cough, Aqva Amara = gross) but this one is done extremely well and hidden behind some thick sweetness. Hilarious how Ben was saying the exact same thing as I was writing this comment. I've layered this with Pure Malt and the combo is just wicked. Pushes the berries waaaaay out. Give it a try Dave!
@CigarBen7 жыл бұрын
Yea, incense on me is either a big NO or a big YES. I will try the Pure Malt layering. That does sound intriguing. I am a fan of Aqva Amara though. LOL

I can't stand amouage 🤮 Smells like an incense stick. Who would want to smell like that. It's like I'm in a room doing a demonic ritual
