A demonstration in solidarity with Palestine was organized in the German capital Berlin.
About 1000 people gathered at Innsbrucker Platz metro station in Schöneberg district and marched to Walter-Schreiber Platz metro station to protest Israel's attacks on Gaza and Germany's support for Israel.
Carrying Palestinian flags and banners reading "Protect Gaza", "Stop supplying weapons to war criminals", "Netanyahu, The Hague is waiting for you", "Freedom for Palestine", "Germany is a racist country, Israel is a terrorist country" and "Ceasefire now", the demonstrators demanded the implementation of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruling on Israel's attacks on Rafah and that Germany stop supporting Israel.
The demonstration chanted slogans in favor of Palestine and some protesters clashed with the police in the area where the march ended. At least 3 people were detained.
The demonstrators then left the scene after the police announced the end of the demonstration.
