Good reaction. At the beginning the weapons are made from bronze, not gold, which is too soft for use as a weapon. This indicates that the events featuring the Scorpion King took place before the advent of iron weapons which were far super to bronze. 😊

Actually, bronze weapons and armor is comparable to Iron, even till late medieval era nobles would wear bronze breast plates. Also, bronze is much easier to maintain then iron as is rusts slower and easier to clean. Iron replaced bronze as it's much easier to mass produce, with tin being hard to find and also getting the right ratio of copper to tin alloy required a lot of skill and even than would still get it wrong.

The third movie is about the Scorpion Kings life (again starring Dwayne Johnson "pro wrestler - The Rock') and how he became the Scorpion King. It is all set in the past. I own the trilogy and find each worth watching.

YAY!!!!🍿🍿 The Mummy movie w Tom Cruise was the studios trying to do the Dark Horse comics. Basically the dark side of mummies, werewolves, etc. It was also supposed to be a reboot of Brendan’s movies. The effects were good, but all of us Brendan Fraser fans boycotted it, and it failed. The 3rd Mummy movie was not good, even when adding Jet Li. Brendan got really hurt making the movie, and Rachel Weiz (Evie) didn’t come back for it. They replaced her. It’s not that bad of a movie, but it doesn’t have the Spark that the first two had. Brendan has said that he’s willing to do a fourth movie, but would like a better storyline; and he would love if the original cast came back.

Really enjoyed your reaction to this and the first one! The 3rd Mummy movie is really not worth watching. Both fans and critics agree that the franchise died after The Mummy Returns. There is a separate spin-off movie from the Mummy Returns, however, called The Scorpion King which wasn't too bad and stars The Rock in his first movie lead.

The Tom Cruise #Mummy is a separate thing. They were not only rebooting the idea, but they were also trying to build a cinematic universe around monster movies that Universal had done in the past. I’ve heard that it isn’t very good, but I’d suggest that you guys react to it anyway.

As a new fan of your channel I wanted to offer a small suggestion about your introduction. I think it’d be great if you each said your first names before introducing yourselves as the Habibi Brothers. I watch a lot of movie reaction channels and HABIBI BROTHERS MOVIES is fast becoming one of my favorites. Fudge, yes! I haven't seen this movie in a long time but I remember it being a lot of fun. There is a 3rd Mummy movie but Stephen Sommers (the writer/director) didn't make it. I'd recommend his previous film DEEP RISING. He made it a year before the first Mummy and it is a fun action/horror/comedy.

Imhotep is definitely the worst villain. But I do feel bad for him that Anck-su-nanum left him to die. Because he truly loved her. Then he just let go. Sad. 😢

Anck-su-nanum didn't really love Inhotep, she wanted the power of immortality that he was able to give her. Anck-su-nanum was the true evil/villain of The Mummy movies.

Quick addendum (feel free to correct me if you know more), Anubis is not an evil god, their the Shepard of the dead and god of funeral rites. They have no control over scorpions, that’s Serket’s domain. The god they should have used for the BBEG is Set, god if storms and the desert or even Apep, great serpent and herald of the apocalypse.

Third movie that came out was The Scorpion King. It is original story of the Scorpion King. The fourth one is set in China. Their son Alex is much older. The Tom Cruise one is a REBOOT…starting the mummy story over and not related to the ones you already saw.

This movie is equallu as good as the first movie with even some better moments. As notoriously bad as The CGI Scorpion King is,i personally will always enjoy the finale of this film and the ending of Imhotep's character as opposed to the first one.

Very boring and just plain bad! Have you guys watched Terminator 2? (You should probably watch the 1st Terminator beforehand, if you haven't).
