@@KevinRovertt I'm interested. I started learning spainsh 3 months ago. They temporary moved me at work and I was with Cubans who didn't speak much English. I learned so I could ask them about their country, I got to ask a few things and they taught me a little spainsh. I'm decent at writing, but only on focused topics. I'm also decent at speaking it, but I don't really understand while listening. I've been learning mostly nature topics. I don't know if the grammer is right, but for example this is a sentence that came from my head, no help from translator. El serpiente verde vive en los árboles. no es venenoso. Se alimenta de insectos o pequeño vertebrados.

Quick correction: "¿Qué es" is used to ask the meaning or definition of a word or phrase (e.g., ¿Qué es el amor para ti?). "¿Cuál es" is used to ask for 'specific' information, like "¿cuál es tu dirección?". So, it should be: "¿Cuál es tu deporte favorito?".

I'm not saying she *couldn't* have said that but there's no real way to tell how much she knows or understood there. I appreciate how well the host has learned Spanish. He does need to work on that accent a bit though. Also, I'm pretty confident you don't wanna be saying "¿*se* habla español? That might just be the accent he's stuck with. Not all people are good at imitating sounds. Others are phenomenal. I speak Spanish and I know my accent is very good, but I can also fool people into thinking I speak French just because I'm good at mimicking sounds. LOL
