Struble is a MF’n gamer. I love the way he plays. You need guys with that compete level and physicality to win. I hope they keep him. He doesn’t and won’t cost much.

Dobes has a good game and everyone is talking about him now lol. I have stated here and everywhere since his 1st season in Ohio that Dobes is the real deal and will be a good NHL goalie. Even last week i said it and everyone disagreed.

We both said the same since he was at Ohio State. His game is far more composed now with experience.

As Habs fans I believe we need to realize that this year we need to concentrate on skill development over all with the young players. Unless a player has done all that he can do at the level he is starting, they should not be moving into the lineup. I love Kapanen, Beck, Reinbacher, Dobes, Tuch, Florian, Struble, Mailloux, etc but getting playing time on pro teams built around their skills and talents for at least a year should be the priority. We need every young player to get big minutes wherever that may be, let Dvorak, Anderson, Gallagher, Evans, Pezzetta, Barre-Boulet, fight for the scrap minutes.
@randylavoy6196Ай бұрын
Get rid of Dvorak...He is a has been ..His best days are far behind him ..!! Get what you can ..IF ... You can find a taker ..!! Future for Habs looks great ..!!

Hudson's game reminds me of Subban's game in a way. I always wonder how good the Canadiens would have been if they had actually really tried to build the team around Subban instead of looking at him like a side piece/sidekick or less than that. The current Canadiens management group is trying to really build around Hudson because they want to build a more up tempo game team. The former management group before the one now were more defensive minded.

With the exception of a few of their secondary players Toronto did not look that good . Yea they got the shot total up but they couldn't put it in the net. Considering only Mathews was missing they looked rusty and disinterested - no heart as usual. Toronto should have been able to put this one to bed 5 to 1 but there was no fire ... Lane Hutson on the other hand came to play - same for Dobes ...
@HabsEnthusiastАй бұрын
Id move Dvorak now because he is healthy. He most likely will be injured before the trading deadline and then you loose him for nothing and you are stuck with him. Id move him for a late round pick or 50% retained for a 3rd round pick.
