Recently i don't know why the hack squat machine was taken away from the gym and substitute for another, call hoist hack squat which is garbage ,any other way to substitute this great exercise

Honestly, it's such a great machine, I'd look for another gym. For me it's also cardio.

You need to build up to such an exercise. Your joints need adaptation and it takes much longer for them compared to muscles or tendons.

do high reps with light weight to get blood in the area without over loading the tendons before they can handle it

@@MrSylvester1111 WRONG - This comment is ancient by now but it still needs to be said. Going through the full range of motion in your joints is not bad - you need to regress and slowly work up to it though.

@@thorsten8790 hahaha I wanted to respond until I saw 6 years ago. But yeah it’s letting your joints get used to it and slowly progress. Long live progressive overloading hehehehe

ach man, das hättet ihr ruhig übersetzen können. mensch mein englisch ist schon so lange her, ich kann das nicht mehr so gut. könnte mir jemand kurz schreiben, was er sagte oder wo drauf es ankommt.

Hey Bob, zu Beginn weist er darauf hin, dass es eine „benefit-to-risk-ratio“ gibt. Man sollte also immer abwägen, ob maximale Belastung letztlich nicht von Nachteil sind, weil man sich verletzt. Dann wird beim Squat gezeigt, wie bei der Aufwärtsbewegung vom Fußballen über die Ferse abgerollt wird, um noch mehr Spannung in Waden und Po zu bringen. Bei der Hackenschmitt-Variante werden die Knie ausgedreht: Das erhöht die Belastung auf die Knie, ermöglicht aber eine bessere Bewegung der Beine am Hüftgelenk.
