I wouldnt be upset w/ myself. That guy was extremely inconsiderate and needed to be yelled at. If you hadn't he would just continue to mess people up. You did good👍

Shouting at the man was completely fine! I mean he should have known better to not do something like that in an arena with someone doing a test. This was in fact pretty rude of him and he completely deserved being shouted at. Loved the video as usual :)

Great content as always Miri. Being part of your process from clipping to schooling to all the "backstage" moments in the stable (tacking up, turning out, choice of hard feeds and so on) allows me to feel really immersed in your wonderfully horsey lifestyle. I am unable to at the moment (much to my immense sadness ) so to experience vicariously the joys and sometime sorrows of horse ownership and competitive Dressage riding is a real gift ... Thank you. In my (humble) opinion your horse-centric content and dry humour is remarkably ego-free and ... (major plus) you don't hustle obnoxiously for subs which is so refreshing. We couldn't hear the pram-man (bobbing with intent) vent ... more's the pity !

I love the way as you started tacking Obi up and started dancing he sought of looked as if to say and there was me thinking all the madness was over but then he thinks I should of known this sought of thing was on the cards especially after she shouted at the random man with the pram poor boy but congratulations to you and Obi never mind blame it on the weather and at least it was a good riding start to 2020 and here’s to many more

I did the same thing in very similar situation while showing my horse! This person waited ( or it seemed) till I was down near the end and he dragged a picknick table across gravel! My horse spun AND bucked. I stayed on, turned back to the rail in original direction, and screamed at him " thanks alot!!!!!!" Everybody heard me as I can yell pretty loud. 😄

Try not to dwell on it, you did it and it’s in the past. He probably deserved it honestly. Some people just don’t have common sense and I’m sure he didn’t mean to spook him. But now he knows to probably not do that again 😂 You both looked awesome! Great job!

4cyte is bloody awesome!! I’m in Australia and use it for my own 2 horses and one of which has a touch of almost arthritis and it makes a massive difference to her and I use it for my competitive showjumper and it makes a massive difference in warm up I’ve found as they don’t get stiff in the cold 100% recommend this product

@marteencowan4037

I think big cob types like him suit their mane hogged better. They look smarter. His mane may be very thin or very thick and lay to the wrong side.

It also may be because of the weather. If it gets really hot having no mane means he can cool off faster
@lizsteeds6697
@lizsteeds6697 4 жыл бұрын
@@lunamagicath1658 In England it is definitely not the "hot " weather. 'Hogging' the mane, which is what clipping the mane this short is called, is a tradition with cob-type horses (of which Obi is an outstanding example). Google what "cob-type horses' breed characteristics are and what they were originally bred for ... It will answer your question about why the manes are typically hogged.
