Hacking the Harbor Freight 4" Biscuit Joiner!

I wanted to show folks how I took my Harbor Freight 4" Biscuit Joiner from just okay, to an easy to use and precision tool, for about $10.

There is an adjusment for the baseplate under two rubber grommets to the left and the right of where the blade comes out

This was incredibly helpful! Thank you. I barely got this thing just for a few things so I was okay with the cheap harbor freight one. I also noticed the coming out of square upon tightening down that thickness set screw and gives you a diagonal cut. I can't tap a new hole, but I'm going to try layering up tape on the reference place accounting for that. Didn't notice the bottom plate surface though!!! Going to go check that now too! Thanks for the exact video I needed
