Generally it works on Intel i7 , Intel Core 2 Duo , Core 2 Quad , Atom , Core 2 Solo , Core Solo , Core Duo , Intel Xeon and its not supported on Intel Pentium 4/D , Intel i5 series and AMD at all. I'll be working on a special version for unsupported CPUs as generally it needs a patched kernel and a lot of patched stuff. For now
this is going to be a vanilla . You'll have to use Intel Chipset (Intel ICH7 and above). If you are not sure what chipset you are using , you can get CPU-Z from
www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php and check it out for yourself
Secondly , its recommended that you install it to another HDD (especially if you have Windows or another OS installed) as OSX requires a GUID partition and not MBR.
It would refuse to install on MBR (which is normally used on PCs). Don't come and cry like a baby saying that you have lost all your data. This is why its recommended to install OSX to another drive , if you do not mind losing your data (assuming you have backed up)
Thirdly , do make sure that AHCI is turned on (if you don't have it anywhere in your BIOS , its okay) and make sure that HPET is set to 64-bit and please disable Speedstep
How-to Install
1. Burn the ISO with your favourite tool (Windows 7 has Out of the box ISO burning tool). I would recommend Nero or something. If you're burning it from Linux , there are lots of tool such as cdrecord. I am not going to go in detail how to burn an ISO
2. Restart your computer (assuming the CD is in the drive)
3. As the computer boots up select Boot Options or Boot Menu Key (generally its F12/F11/DEL or some key - You'll have to check with your motherboard manufacturer for that)
4. Wait for a while as Empire EFI (Chameleon/boot-132) boots up
5. Once you see Darth Vader , wait for a while (I would recommend you to wait for around a minute or so)
6. Eject your Drive. Simply eject it
7. Insert MacOS X Installation Disc (Snow Leopard Retail disc (The $29 disc) and not upgrade discs/recovery disc which comes along with a genuine mac) and then press F5
8. Again wait for a while for Empire EFI to detect the disc, once it sees 'Mac OSX Installation Disc' , select it and wait for the installation to start

@nene888 Si no te diste cuenta, el video esta editado. Cambia el DVD cuando ya termino la instalacion del OSX y luego vuelve a poner el DVD EMPIRE EFI para instalar los parches... Yo hago lo mismo. No es un Fake como dices.

pues yo lo hice y NO puedo cargar el snow leo si no inserto el CD de EFI. A pesar de haber instalado primero el chameleon, y luego el myhack. Si no meto el CD obtengo kernel panic. Y eso es una mierda. Por lo menos windows sigue booteando normal. Ideas?

at 1:51 i get an error message "unable to install on this computer" i have a retail OS X 10.6.3 disc and an AMD config. how can i patch my OSX disc? i have it on a USB external also as a bootable drive If anyone could point me towards a window's side patch it would be much appreciated.

Can someone give me some insight on how to install this onto my dell laptop? I have the EFI program and a dmg file of snow leopard (not sure on what build). My laptop does not have a dual-dvd burner or reader so I can't do that, but I do have a flash drive that is bigger then 8 gb.

Is there a way to install it on external hard drive ?? Since it wont let me install on my 3rd partition of my hard drive . I dont wanna reformat my HDD since i have windows 7 and leopard running on two other partitions . Leopard was a b%$# to install i would hate to lose it.
