Well.... It has been done.... 500,000 views.... At this point, do I even have anything more to say than just “thank you” again? I really want to say something else for this milestone for views... Maybe I can talk about why this was a passion project for me. I remember listening to this song on the way home one day. For some reason, right at the part just before the last chorus played, I imagined that scene from Hacksaw Ridge where Desmond is praying to God on the ridge, asking why he was called to be a combat medic if he can’t save anyone. Then, the moment when he hears the voices crying out for him, for someone to save them, it was when Desmond heard those cries and accepted those calls “begging him to fight” that he “picked himself up”... He rushed into the heat of battle with thousands of bomb shells exploding around him and with the entire Japanese Armada in front of him... And he accomplished the impossible... And became a legend... That’s when I knew that I had to make this video. And as as silly as it might sound, I even prayed to God after releasing this video that this video would inspire as many people as possible to also hang on to God and hope even when things do not look well in their own lives; that He is and always will be the God of the impossible. I hope that this video continues to inspire others and even lead them closer to God. Because even if you don’t believe in God, He still believes in you. God bless, everyone!

Well congrats! I’ve watched this so many times it’s so good! And 2:44 is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever seen, Doss was a hero he saved 75 men for a better world for everyone I would have never even joined the war. But when I found out about Doss I’ve always wanted to be like him a brave Christian that wouldn’t hurt a man. R.I.P Doss, you are loved.

Such a TRUE hero he is a HUGE idol in my life. He did the impossible during the war we need to KEEP that legend alive!!!!! He wasn't selfish after all the credit he was given,he still gave all the credit to God. Who knows he could've saved a relative of whoever is reading this comment! For me it would be a dream come true to meet him in person,I actually went to visit his gravesite in Chattanooga TN I have a vacation home in TN and I felt so honored to see his place of resting but he's not gone forever! He is in the place God prepared for him. Heaven... He is a legend and we CANNOT let that legend die......

100,000 views.... Just... Just how...? I’m actually at a loss of words for how many views this has gotten now... But what I can say is... thank you... For watching, for liking, for showing your support in the comments... Thank you so much for the support this video has gotten! With that being said, I know that I talked about making another video, but I have thought about changing my mind. Reason being is that while this video has reached over 100K views, my other video that I made still hasn’t made it past 200 :P That’s not a bad thing at all, or something that I want to make the audience guilty of! Not at all! It’s jus that I now realize that this video will be my one-hit-wonder and that’s perfectly fine! But who knows! If my other video someone gets blessed by the KZbin algorithm, I might continue making videos like this. It all depends on what people like and want! Besides, this is the video that I truly wanted to make the most that I believe, as a Christian myself, God wanted me to make and pour my all into. And I’m very glad that it is well received and liked my many around the world! I’ll still continue to reply to as many people as I can who respond to this video! I know this post was very long, but I’m glad that you read this far! Thank you for watching!

Just to let you know private Dross was a medic, also he was Christian
@The4Tifier4 жыл бұрын
I couldn't portray that through most of the video since a lot of if was music, but in the beginning I was able to give a snippet of that with him praying over the troops with a Bible before heading into battle. Also with the climatic ending where he's praying to God about what he's even doing there before doing what made him a legend; saving 75 men in a night single-handedly while facing the entire Japanese armada unarmed. But yes, he was a devout Seventh-day adventist who swore off violence after his own negative experiences with nearly killing his own brother and father. As a Christian myself, I know that it was God's doing that allowed Doss to do what he did for those men. There is no other way Doss would have been able to accomplish what he did otherwise. Fun fact; there were even stories from surviving Japanese soldiers who said that when they were shooting at Doss, their guns would occasionally jam!
