Boarding up windows is an important way to protect your home from high winds during hurricanes and heavy storms. Hurricane panel anchors will make it easier to install plywood sheets to board up windows and also easier to remove the panels after the danger from high winds is gone.

Great video. I should have done this last year, before hurricane season, now we're facing a Gulf Coast hurricane next week. Anyway, when I get finished with my installation, I'm going to put up a video using the same anchors, only I'll be doing it on a house with vinyl siding. Seems that there are no videos showing how to cover-up on a house with siding. Thank you for this video. It has given me the installation option I've been looking for.

Forgot 1 important step, you should blow out the hole to remove the dust prior to inserting the anchor.
