I was one of those kids that learned to program on a BBC micro in the 80s. I've been a software developer for the last 35 years thanks to it.

@@mzafonte6840 the BBC micro:bit may have been released in 2012 but the BBC micro 8 bit computer was released in 1981 and I learned to program on it when I was at school.

Great job on the video here. We just got our V2 in the mail today and will try it out with Meowbit SD Wireless communications from Arcade. This works with V1. Can't wait to try it with V2. Again, thanks for the great video.

Our favourite Arduino IDE compatible board. This runs so smooth and fast, with all the included sensors, it is everything the Pi Pico is not. Best microcontroller board for education right now. Whether you like to code in C++, Python, Javascript or even drag blocks. And guess what, they even fixed the LED matrix! Now it is nicely 5x5 pin, not the uber-vaque 3x9 pin layout of the V1. So that means you can make a matrix scanning display function yourself.
Damn that little thing has machine learning? awesome.

I wonder if the voice recognition can handle other languages. It need one that does a very high accuracy hits, given the context like user will speak date of birth...user will speak digits.... user will speak alphanumeric characters...user will give a currency with price
