In Cyrodiil, it's very important to complete the full pvp tutorial, because by doing so, you'll level the pvp skill lines to level 3, at which point you can unlock the continuous attack passive that will give you major gallop at all times, making your horse move faster. Which is a godsend at early stages.

Not sure if you mentioned it or not, but as soon as you are level 10, join a campaign and do the intro to cyrodiil quest which will get you access to the passive perk under the assault skill line that makes your mount considerably faster.

One thing I'm doing while I level skill lines is to have a skill or two on my backbar, and just make sure I complete quests on my backbar. This way, when I complete a quest for a bunch of XP, im scaling my class skills, my destruction staff, dual wield, and bow

This was good. Ive told many new players on Facebook that they should do the tutorial and the base game starter zones. And i always warn against power lvling. If youre a new player. Even once you hit lvl 50. You're still not max lvl. You you still have 3,600 lvls before youre max so power lvling to 50 is not good. Youll be missing gear, lack of skill points and youll be subject to ESO fatigue a lot easier. Like you said its boring killing the same thing over and over with no change.

power level to 1160, after that you dont need CP anymore. This is for trials as dps. Tanks dont even need more than 300 cp for trials. Friend of mine recently got me back into the game, because I quit because questing is so mindnumbingly boring in this game. We started doing trials and it has been the most fun time I have ever had in ESO.

The best way I've found for leveling new characters is to just knock out the main storyline for your favorite faction. Its 5 zones, and by the time you've completed 2-3, you have a good amount of skill points, especially if you've been doing world activities like delves and such. Also, staying queue'd for random dungeons while leveling will get you some solid xp, and a skill point per each unique dungeon you knock out.

I've power leveled a few characters and realized later it was a mistake. You end up with not enough skill points to do anything useful. You end up going back and playing the game as intended.

@@HackTheMinotaur personally I’m a PvP guy. When I level I do it through battle grounds. I do the battle ground and yes I do play to help my team win. It’s not all death match for me as I do enjoy the objectives however before the battle grounds end I quit the BG so I don’t get the massive chunk of experience at the end. It’s works perfectly. It slow levels my toon and my skill lines and I get to really enjoy my character doing what I love to do for a much longer period of time. If at any point I need a skill point I just hit a public dungeon. To me this makes the game so much more enjoyable.

I allways do a full overland skyshard run of EP or dc faction at lvl 10 couse thats when you can get major gallop, only going into the main dungeon in each zone for another easy skill point, run dungeons as they unlock for the SP, And chars have plenty of skill points never had an issue power leveling just gotta do it right, n if u want meteor farm the books while grabing sky shards bit more work and those

Great video! People often forget that every rank in pvp is a skill point. Every 4 person dungeon has a skill point. Every story quest like cadwell’s silver and gold quests reward you a skill point. Every public dungeon has a sky shard and skill point. Not to mention the do you will get for completing them.

I’m a bit of a completionist so I always do all three starting zones when I start a new character. This gets me all the skyshards and leveled to 20, plus they are fairly quick and fun. For a brand new person this can give you a great introduction into each faction without needing to create 3 characters as well.

I played ESO back when cold Harbour was the tutorial and I didn't really care too much for the game. I played with a group of friends so I kinda got stuck with a class that I didn't really like for the sake of building a decent group composition not knowing, that doesn't really matter early on. I'm playing solo now and picked a class I actually enjoy and I'm having a lot more fun than I was.

Farm sky shards for skills and waypoints, then power level at alikr dolmens, SR or BP. do dungeons as they unlock for the skill points and dont forget to go into cyrodill at level 10 and do the intro quest so you can get major galop passive gg

If you are new to the game and you don't have a maxed out crafter with tons of materials and gold, just do this: Do the tutorial, pick the gate that brings you to your factions baginner zone, welcome to the base game. Talk to the first questgiver... Talk to the "Hooded Figure" (you will meet her, don't worry you can not miss her), this starts the basegame mainstoryline. Mix it in with the zone- and factionstoryline. Follow the natural quest progression(s). Join the Fightersguild and Magesguild and the Undaunted, do their daily quests. Unlock all skillines, learn crafting and do the daily crafting quests. Do the "Invitation to Cyrodil" quest! (short questline to introduce you to Cyrodil with NO PVP involved, unlocks two additional skillines and three skillpoints). Pick up all skyshards in every zone along the way, do all the Delves and Dolmens along the way and don't ignore sidequests, they are well worth it. There is no need to rush! Just enjoy the game, soak in the atmosphere, immerse yourself, have fun :) Dungeons and Battlegrounds: are a thing for masive XP gains, do the daily(s) and be done with it, they suck when you are low level and some dude like myself just rushes through it for the daily... really, besides the XP you get nothing of value out of this while leveling so don't sweat it.

As a returning player, I would suggest: 1) just invest in the ESO membership for a month and see whether you like the game. It gives you a crafting bag and access to DLCs. Given the limited space and the big role, crafting plays in this game ... you will end up avoiding picking materials and hating the game. Moreover, it will allow you to get companions/NPCs and access Scrying skill which you will need later on 2) Get a free Armory rack from the store for your Inn so you can switch/reset builds

Honestly the best advice I could ever give to new players to ESO is just pick a class and race you think are cool, and just go and enjoy the game, do quests, explore the world and get immersed in the stories, build guides and dungeon/xp spamming only really becomes necessary once you hit CP160 so until you get there just enjoy the ride

In the combat tutorial, i had her respawn the practice enemy about 6 or 8ntimes, raised my bow and blade skills by 2 levels before i even stepped out to actually fight anything. And the practice enemy drops loot. It dropped mostly fairly useless pants, but one time it dropped greaves with a bonus on, so it was worth trying. I know this sounds like grinding, but it didn’t take that long to raise my skills.

I have a level 45 healer/crafter and I haven't even looked at the story yet. I completed Knarithi's Roost, join the Fighter's and Mage's guilds, got set up for crafting writs, dove straight into dungeons, and resource grinding to max out my crafting skills. I do my daily writs, ledgermain, and Seals of Endeavour, dungeon, and some light grinding for mats each day. This would have been helpful early on.

I went dungeons only from lv 10 to 50 and i feel like i have too many points actually... i would recommend putting one skill each of every skill line u wanna use on second weapon slot, and switch before killing/completing quests to the second so that u get lv ups for all of them even if u you cant use the skill on set weapon... and if you dont want eso + for crafting backpack its also better i think, because by the time u reach lv 50 u will have 120+ space on both char and bank, and you dont have to run to sell stuff etc so often, also u can dissasemble stuff you dont need at a bench to get crafting lv fast and when you come back to questing the world will have high value resources instead of useless ones .... currently at lv 45 and got all class skills, heavy medium armor, sword and shield, 2handed, destruction and restoration at 40+ im playing 5th day now xD

I bought the game 2 months ago. Played it for a week then deleted it. I chose to play as a Dark Elf and go straight to Vvardenfell and as soon as I got done with the starter island the game took me to south of Morrowind I talked to some people maybe did a few things and got sent to Vvardenfell. I explored the island going to Morrowinds iconic places because I wanted to play Morrowind at the time and still do but since getting a PC to play a game made in 2002 is expensive I think ESO did some of the recognizable places good and it was just cool being able to see these places with major or minor differences. Thats when I got off 2 months ago but today I got back on and did Vivecs quest at first I wasnt caring for the main story still really aint but Vivecs side quest is very good for a side quest and I felt a sense of progression to want to keep going. EDIT- I forgot to say but im either level 13 or 15 and I'm doing the main quest. I just got out of Molag Bals realm.

Heres a short version for any new players, 1) DO NOT POWER LEVEL YOUR FIRST CHARACTER work on quests and level up doing those because you will get skill points and even gold doin the main quests and you will need them all, also do dungeons as the 1st time you go in them theres a quest that gives a free skill point. 2nd make sure you work on ur crafting traits atleast on one character (another reason u will need all the skill points you can get) its a slow grind but its nice to have so you can make your own armor for future characters .

One is supposed to be for regular fights, the other is for boss fights, as he mentions in the written guide for that build. You're supposed to swap between them via Armory loadouts.

started playing with friends. they're a sorc and a warden. i tried dragonknight tank setup.. it's difficult. one of them doesn't care to sit and learn the game to play, they just wanna run in and steal shit and attack stuff. the other is more or less like me, slow going, learning the game and such. we could do with a healer, and I've thought of changing from tank dragonknight to healer dragonknight or just leveling up another class entirely for group sessions. we're on ps5 if that matters.

When the new chapter released I saw people offering to assist people in levelling from level 3 to 50 in 2 hours and 15 minutes, I'm sure anyone who used this method would be in very bad shape at level 50, with way fewer skill points, and unevenly levelled skills, and completely lacking many important skill lines.

The difference between those players and you is that they know how to get skillpoints efficiently, ie speed running all normal dungeons (1 and 2) thats 40 skill points, then speed running all public dungeons thats another 30 skill points. Timegated skill lines are going to take few days, but those players who know what they are doing are endgame ready in maybe 1 week.

To your point about doing the tutorial and ppl skipping it, no wonder nefas said in a recent video half the community dont know how to spot a heavy and to block/dodge it. Quite concerning, along with not knowing how it looks when an enemy must be interrupted. No wonder they removed the need of interrupt on the big white wolf boss in mhk, they need to dumb it down for ppl who don't know how to or how to spot the need for an interrupt, just because they all skipped/didn't pay attention to turorial.

1. Tutorial 2. Starter Zone (clear quests and get all sky shards and lore books) 3. First faction zone a. Pick up Fighter’s Guild, Mages Guild, undaunted skill lines. b. Pick up crafting skill lines (all but jewelry will be available). c. Charge mount speed d. Buy bag space (if you have the funds). e. If level 10 enter Cyrodiil to pick up skill lines (to level up to unlock the speed passive buy some stone repair kits port to a faction controlled castle and repair walls). f. ​@frankieluv1479 on your step e, just do the Cyro intro quest and you get the levels you need to open Continuous Assault. Faster than trying to find something to repair.

Do not lvl as dps or you will get stuck in q for hours. Lvl as a tank, you will learn more and q is instant. Random dungeon is the key and you get 1 sp for each quest. STAY AWAY FROM SKYREACH!

Wow, I did the exact opposite of all of that grunded for 6 hours str8 b4 I died even once followed by 3 more times in a row in the infinite archives 😅 and only solo. Skyrim dragon born style #Demonking
