So bummed about the album. The storm,storm 2,outside the box are not actual songs but short interludes with a riff thrown in. Not to mention 3 songs we already had. I honestly am pretty shocked because everything prior to this album was so good. I just dont get how after such a long wait,and the quality of the stuff they have released they all sat in the studio and agreed the storm 1 and 2 and outside the box should even make the cut and take up space. To me it feels like an ep with a little tease of new music. The eps felt more like albums than this. We know they had a ton of time to write and record. I had a bad feeling right away when i saw the track list had 3 previously released songs. With all the time its taken for this album that was a huge red flag. It told me not only did they not have enough stuff written that they were happy with but that they didn't think it was as good or better than there older stuff so they played it safe.Trust me guys im not hating, this is all coming from a huge fan who had high expectations for the band that were not met by a mile. The feeling i get from the album is maybe the pressure might have pushed the guys to play it safe in certain aspects while not really fully committing to a sound of there own. With such a HUGE spotlight put on you in such a short time I can imagine how hard it must of been. I really hope to see and hear a more confident complete second album. But this song is a banger and I still love rockin elevate! I just hoped at this point it would be a different H song but I can def blast this for another 4 years or whatever it takes for album 2!
