It's been about 3 years, and it's not any easier, especially with my stomach issues. But, I keep going! Kody keeps me going a lot. I have met some wonderful people on youtube. Yes the drive got tiring. I did 4 days but that was enough for me. Lol I told my ex manager there when I saw him yesterday, I might come back 2 days a week. I do miss it a bit. At had some fun times. Then I can still do spark delivery as well. And yes, my dinner was delicious!!! 🥰😊

Oh gosh, how it all has changed since I lived down there. I hated the tourist traffic. Wow,You got dinner & entertainment 👍 I still have a few cousins that live somewhere down there. Maybe up in a hollar somewhere 😂😂 my 2 uncles use to work & maintain the Tram . For a short time I lived up by the old griss mill there in Pidgeon Forge. But we are talking a loooooong time ago😂😂😂 fun video, thanks for sharing it with us. So happy that u got to spend some fun quality time w/ your sister. Seiversville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are some of our favorite places to vacation. We also love the outlets and eating at The Chop House. By the way, I’m from Indiana. How nice. I hope you had a wonderful birthday Melissa! And so nice to see you use a blinker for turns! That's something folks down here tend to forget more times than not. I remember when I first moved to NE TN in 1997, I tried to go to Pigeon Forge for something, (maybe outlets there too?) one weekend with my mom and kids. We got off I-40 from further East of there; I don't remember the exit but it was probably that parkway (this was before I had GPS). We were sitting in stopped traffic for a ridiculous amount of time and so finally decided to stop at the Sevierville outlets because we got to that first! Lol. And, I had moved here from a state and city with lots of traffic and sightseers, but I was amazed how bad the traffic was! But, all we had was a paper map and co-workers from this area who gave me directions (such as, turn at the barn), so I didn't really know how much further it was to Pigeon Forge. Thanks for sharing your day with us!

@@italian_grl I am up in Kingsport (about 6 miles from the exit to I-26 off I-81 on the way to Tri-City airport), so it is a long drive to get over to Sevierville. A few people I know did stop there and roamed around taking pictures. I think it would be a fun place to stop if I ever get that way. Definitely make a video when you go!

Lol, when you first showed the Parkway I was thinking "wow, traffic is so light", then you said it was so busy. Don't go during one their Car Show events, it could take 2 hours+ to drive what you showed. My sister used to live over by Dollywood, we could hear their train and walk down to the Old Mill on the Parkway. She lives in Knoxville now. Glad you had a good time, it was fun tagging along.

Melissa do you cook at home much? The reason I ask is I'm considering going tiny myself and wondered if your size frig/freezer works well for you. Most recipes are so huge that there usually leftovers and I tend to freeze things to eat later. Also how does the bathroom set up work for you? The sinks in the ITH videos look so tiny. Love your videos and your home is so cute!

Hi, I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos! I do cook at home, yes... almost always. I have my ninja flip oven that a generous neighbor gave me, but I also use my crockpot and air fryer. I'm not too fond of my little fridge/ freezer combo but it does the job. Not much room at all in my freezer. I get groceries usually every few days! I do not have a sink in my bathroom. I opted for more space in my living area. I just wash my hands in my kitchen sink. Easy!! No problem.

Ate at the dinner across the road, Fudruckers, Flap Jacks and a few more places. I am from the Charleston SC area. Reminds me of Myrtle Beach area without the beach.

I just took my car in last week for oil change and they were checking out my tires. Made me mad to know they said I'll need tires before too long. The place I got my tires at had a 60k mile warranty, and I haven't put that many on yet!!!

Well, Kody stays home alone, he's fine by himself. I used to work in pigeon forge and with the drive, I was gone 8 hrs a day and he did fine. I won't make him stay longer than that. And, if there's something or I stay out longer than I thought, I'll ask my neighbor who lives next door if she'll check on him. Honestly, he will not go out potty though anyways when I'm not there. Lol I love him!! And yes, Buffalo creek I'm sure won't be done for a long time, the mountain isn't even done!?! Smh. I've been here almost 3 years and it was starting when I got here! Lol randy needs to finish one project before starting another, just my opinion. Lol

I agree. He has wonderful nutritional info! I don't want to say too much and possibly offend Melissa, but there is a lot that can be done for stomach issues. I've learned so much about healthy eating, what to avoid, and about disease/disorders from Dr. Berg. There is so much info available today if we want to learn. Those candles are toxic too. Sorry. Yes, I love to hike. However, how hot and humid it's been for months, I haven't been hiking. Also my stomach issues put a damper on that!!! I just got some new stomach pills, they help with stomach cramping of ibs, so I'll see how those do. I also like going on little road trips to New places. I just can't a lot cause I have to work, and again, stomach issues.
