*Schizophrenia k mutaliq kuch basic knowledge for everyone:* im not a psychiatrist but mein final year medical student hun aur mene iss bemari k mutaliq parha hai. i'll try k asan language use krun takay sabko smjh aa skay. ye bemari usually early/mid 20s (15-35) ki age mein shru hoti hai. aurton aur mardon dono ko hoskti hai. bemari ki waja genetic/environmental factors dono hosktay hain symptoms patient to patient vary krtay hain. har patient ko har symptom nahi hoga aur severity bhi different hogi. Par jis banday mein ye beemari hoti hai uski kuch main alaamat hain. *1.* 2nd/3rd person auditory hallucination: matlab awazein sun'na. usually patient ko lgega k koi awaz uske mutaliq baat kr rahi hai ya patient pe comment kr rahi hai. (e.g hoor ko ye sunay k "hoor tou boht buri hai") ye bhi hoskta hai k awaz patient se mukhatib ho (e.g "hoor tum boht buri ho" ya "hoor uska qatal krdo") Dramay mein dikhe janay k baraks visual hallucination common nahi hai. *2.* Thought withdrawl: patient ko lgega k uski thoughts ki koi privacy nahi hai. Koi bhi uskay khyalat parh skta hai. *3.* Primary delusion: patient false beliefs develop krlega. Delusions ki examples: "har koi mujhe nuqsan pohnchana chahta hai" "mujhe cancer hai" "meray pass special powers hain" "me wazir e azam hun" *4.* Delusional perception: patient asal experiences/events ko misinterpret krega. patient unhe imagine nahi kr raha but uske zehn mein un cheezon kay mutaliq false beliefs hongay (e.g "mene moon ko dekha mujhe foran pta chal gaya wo evil hai" "iss walay cloud ko dekho ye meray liye hidden message hai k dunya ko bachao") *5.* Somatic passivity: patient ko lgega k uski thoughts, feelings, actions koi aur control kar raha hai *6.* Thought broadcast: patient ko lgega k doosray log uskay mu se bolay bghair bhi uski thoughts samjh sktay hain Schizophrenia ka elaaj na krwaya jaye aur bemari barh jaye tou aur tarah k symptoms bhi hongay *7.* Blunted affect: absence of emotions *8.* Incongruity: patient situation kay according react nahi krega. hoskta hai kay apne parents ki death ki baat krtay hue hans raha ho. *9.* Social Isolation: logon se milnay julnay ki bjae akelay rehna. *10.* Apathy: state of indifference. Fikar, jazba, shoq, excitement is tarah ki sari emotions khtam ya kam hojyengi *11.* Poverty of speech: ruk ruk kar baat karna, kisi sentence ko shru karke achanak adhoora chorr dena. Be-rabt/be-mayni jumlay bolna *12.* Poor self care Basically iss bemari mein patient k liye haqeeqat aur uski apni zehn ki ikhtarah mein faraq karna boht mushkil hai. yadasht aur hosh o hawas khonay (altered consciousness) ka masla iss bemari mein nahi hota. Patient ko mostly iss cheez ka edraak bhi nahi hota k uskay sath koi masla hai aur isi waja se ussay treatment krwanay k liye razi karna bhi khasa mushkil hai. Treatment k liye medicine aur therapy se elaj hota hai. Antipsychotic drugs. Chlorpromazine, haloperidol. Jinkay side effects bhi boht hain. isliye medicine denay se phle psychiatrist patient k symptoms k mutabiq ye dekhay ga k medicine dene ka faida zada hai ya nuqsan aur kis dose mein deni hain. Usually medicine se 2-4 week mein sirf kuch symptoms (hallucinations, delusions) control hojyeingay but medicine 1-2 year tak continue rakheygay takay dubara relapse na ho. Par patients jin mein ye bemari severe ho unka elaj kai kai saal continue rahega. Social isolation, emotional emptiness, inappropriate emotional response, lack of motivation type kay syptoms ko medicines se koi faraq nahi parrega as such. Iskay elawa CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) talking therapy hai. usmein therapist baat cheet k through patient ki thoughts, beliefs, attitude ko change krne ki koshish krta hai Statistics k mutabiq jitnay log iss bemari se suffer krtay hain, unmein 1/3 patients jinko shru mein hi diagnose krke treat krdein, normal life guzar patay hain . 1/3 ki bemari barh jati hai. wo normally function nahi kar pyeingay. Baqi 1/3 mein bar bar relapse/recovery hoti hai. Kuch severe patients ko hospitalize krne ki zarurat bhi parr skti hai. Mostly patients independently akelay ghar mein ya job nahi karsktay. schizopherenia kay patients mein suicide rates bhi kafi high hotay hain.

With respect to this interview as well as Zahid Ahmed's, I just want to say that despite being an Indian, I had not seen Judaai because I always felt 90s cinema was super cringe. But even aside from the plagiarism, the script of MTA is egregious. Its plain pathetic. Even if the actors claim to be blissfully unaware that the story was lifted from Judaai, why would they sign up for such a substandard script? Ulfat and her Sridevi inspired overacting and you're telling me you didn't know it's got anything to do with Judaai! Shahan's character is so lame and unbelievably stupid and Shafaq - the same person who fired a driver or a guard or whatever in the first episode is now a typical bahu scheming and plotting while maintaining her sanskari exterior. And imagine if a script had two men selling a woman for money?! There would be an uproar, and rightfully so. Then why should the audience silently accept this crap called MTA?

Shafaq is the main culprit in this drama because she exploited Ulfat's weakness. Yes Ulfat is dumb and is overconfident at the same time. This is the writing and direction that these actors are portraying based on what they conceive their characters as. It's not that Soniya is lying or justifying Ulfat's behavior, in fact this is the explanation that she received from the writer and she played it accordingly thinking that Ulfat is a bholi larki. Now its upto the audience what they think of her character.

Since multiple times Aamna said that Sonia's interview will be hard-hitting so I watched this one but I kept waiting and Aamna agreed with everything Sonia said. A hard-hitting interview is the one that Hassan's interview did with Jalan's writer.

Really, Aamna asked all the hard hitting questions. What else do you want? She answered every question so gracefully. You can't compare it with Jalan writer at all. Soniya did not write this drama. Why is evsrybody bashing her thst her acting is similar to Sri Devi. Why would she lie? Theres something called a Coincidence. Could be that. Lets not spread hate since nobody knows the truth!

Sorry Sonya, but I'm not buying it. So far, only Mansha has given a decent response regarding the controversy around the drama being copied from Judaai. Zahid ne bhi fazul jawab dia or Sonya ne bhi. Most of us grew up watching Bollywood movies. There's no way she or Zahid wouldn't have heard about the film. Agar kam kar hi lia hai, good or bad, at least learn to own it.

“Had no idea her drama was copied” then how come she was acting like Siri Devi too in the beginning??🤪

Exacly my thoughts. She imitates Sridevi to the "T" and she says she didn't know the serial is a copy of Judai. LOL hard to believe.

A lot of people my age don't know about that movie.I am 30 and I watched it after I came to know about Judai after MTA. It is possible but her acting is so similar to that of Sridevi that it's hard to believe.

AOA Amna, I want to take a moment to say that you are so poised, calm, composed and you way of conducting interview is so so inspirational. I speaks v fast and wish to speak like you i mean even if we close our eyes, we can listen u for hour and hours v v impressive Ma Shaa Allah lots of duaas for u stay healthy and keep it up the great job. Now let me come to the interview, Sonya is indeed a great actress and although i am not an actor still i can sense that she was acting during the whole interview i means seriously you are signing one drama and u don't even know that whether this drama is a cheap copy of a movie. Having said that you have also earlier mentioned that it would be hard hitting interview but honestly it wasnt Amna you could do better and you have done better job with the past interviews. Mohabbat tujhe alvida has so many blunders not one so u cant put all the responsibility on directors, AD and writers! You have copied a lot from Sridevi character from Judaii movie still you are claiming you were unaware is undigestable Sonia, please we audience are v smart and a camera can never lie so we can easily see that you were totally lying. When you are saying as a wife you wont allow your to have second marriage then how come you can play such character on screen when you don't believe in it totally non sence. U dont sell your husband even if you are innocent. Once again Amna you are so so polite, intelligent that i want my 5 year old daughter to be exactly like you on future In shaa Allah.

It was an enjoyable interview. Sonya Hussein you are so sweet. again very good interview. Pertinent questions. Amna doesn’t need a certificate for her credentials. She is so graceful, I started watching drama reviews only after I saw her discussion. Being a literature student, I am learning a lot from Amna. The way she talks, she is never loud, the way she and Hassan conduct interviews, there is certain kind of serenity in this whole environment which keeps me glued to this channel.
