insane for a run where you didn't really get the build with reguards to hammers and duos at least and though the first zones were rather lucky the last and longest one really screwed you and did so on a just good enough build. Really clutch gameplay I guess, Polyphemus had the only major mistake I could spot. Damn impressive stuff.

Timer should pause with icarus, and for athena, if youre using her keepsake it'll mark down from 1 to 0 if she spawns in the room

not sure if he was gunning for another boon but romantic spark was the goal duo here (ideally with some channel speed hammers, bad luck those didn’t show up tho). for Icarus (and artemis) the in game timer top right will always pause at the beginning of the encounter, even before the NPC pop up. and the damage is just cos blitz special + strong % attack boon is broken on moros lol, even without romantic spark you can trigger and reapply blitz super fast b/c of moros’ high burst. that and his movement is really good to keep the enemies in range/dodge behind enemies, all in all a great run 👏

I show every boon I got at the end and point out the important stuff, not sure what else I could say here that would explain it better. You can tell when you get Icarus because the timer is paused during combat before he shows up.

No I don't use outside tools, you can tell it's a fountain because a normal encounter in the Rift would just have a green arrow on the door. Only a fountain will show the reward (trial chambers too I guess).

Out of curiosity, why is a death required at the start? Cheating prevention?

its to show that the run isnt using a set seed where you can tell how the run is going to go generally. so by dying before, it goes to a random seed that can't be manipulated

Assuming it works the same as Hades 1... Yeah! A death resets the random seed for the run, whereas a restart still keeps the same seed. And though small actions slightly change the seed in a run, so you probably won't get the exact same result unless you do exactly the same, big things like which gods are offered & I think even to an extend what boons are offered are likely to be the same (though rarity might be more fickle), especially for the first few rooms before you start deviating from the path. So to prevent knowing what's ahead, and making choices that don't make sense unless you know what is ahead ("I know I am offered Hera later, so let's pick this one so that I am already set up for the Duo boon") you need to die because that fully resets the randomness instead of slightly altering it. Seeded runs are a seperate categorie.

The Rift only shows a reward on the exit door when it's a fountain (or a trial (or some other special room)) otherwise it'll just show a green arrow.

It's an option for sure, tough to say if it's worth the Grasp (also not really sure how it works since you continuously channel the omega attack, hmm...).

I'm lucky, I work for the state government as a salaried employee, but they don't let me work more than 40 hours a week, so I have the best version of being salaried :D man I hate unpaid internships in general, they always feel scummy... nice run, good rooms in the city, now we just need better room/event RNG in Olympus and actually good Hams instead of mediocre Hams lol

I have beat him on heat 16 Use build with Hestia is probably the easiest and safest Throw long range fire ball, burn it, and the dash of Hestia is the super counter to ERIS WHY? because gun shot of ERIS are "PROJECTILES" and hestia running skill is nullified all projectiles and return some damage You can just run around ERIS expect the bombing
