For Arthur, I like to buy into the role of Tank. Athena for attack. This turns projectiles into a fun mini game of stand in the special and deflect all projectiles. Aphrodite for special or Demeter to boost either aspect of the aoe (slow people down or take less damage while standing in it). Add Dionysis trippy shot and while you're in the special area you become practically invincible especially if you also have Divine Dash. The combo of Athena and Demeter also allows you to get the health regeneration without death defiances But for the most broken build using this, the hammer that reduces your health but gives you 2 health back per hit is awesome with this build. With enough centaur hearts, this becomes a self regenerating tank who can stand in the area of effect taking little damage and hitting 3 or 4 enemies at once so healing a lot. It doesn't matter how slow Arthur is once you get this going.

I think you're completely right about the secret spear being kind of crap, but when had to use them to beat hades for the quest I found that putting artemis or aphrodite on special for it and just spamming that from really far away helped mitigate the health decrease because you take damage less. Honestly most of the set is kinda bad so you're stuck with using special, which might have been good if not for the massive cooldown time between specials. Good luck on future hades runs!

6:13 You demonstrate the solution to your problem. In the clip against tisiphone, you show that you can dash during the startup of your second and third swings. Then, to illustrate landing hits being a problem, you show yourself whiffing hits 2 and 3 at midrange where a dash would have made the attack hit.

You can try zeus on special with aspect of rama. Makes it rain lots of lightning and shreds wave and even bosses if you get a few boons that compliments the special and upgrades on the zeus specials!

Error: you don't actually need to unlock both the regular aspects for the hidden one, i literally didn't unlock aspect of achilles and still got guan yu

For Guan Yu, i think it's a build that only true pros could use. It's like Hardcore Mode in Hades.

aspect of guan yu is terrible at level 1 just max it first before using it else its just game over in boss encounters and aspect of rama too for getting good dmg out of shared suffering. Zeus attack and Pressure points go bonkers with Aspect of Lucifer evaporate the enemy.

The only downside I can think of for the Beowulf shield is that it's an aspect of the same weapon as Zeus's Frisbee of Perpetual Death, which I simply like better. So if the Shield will get me more Darkness for a run, odds are I'm picking Zeus over it all the time.

Beowulf w/ Dionysus and Stygian Soul is probably the most broken aspect of the whole game, I suggest you try it. Also Guan Yu w/ Charged Skewer becomes incredibly broken.

You should try some Eris rail runs, not only is it the best rail aspect, its a strong contender for the straight up best aspect in the game. Cluster rockets OP

I completed a couple runs with Gilgamesh built around the Poseidon dash and almost exclusively used the fan for damage. That build was totally broken with the right boons.

What you're doing wrong with Guan Yu is that it's supposed to be a special oriented build. The attack isn't worth it, and the spin attack should only be used rarely. Basically the meta for it is to spam special with Deadly Flourish, Charged Skewer, and additionally a Chaos Boon if you get lucky. Also, probably level it up at least once (I maxed it out and now it's really good). Sadly, it's super reliant on Charged Skewer so if you fail to get that hammer, the run is basically over with how little damage you deal.

Eh… I’ve had pretty decent runs with deadly reversal using athena on attack + support fire, quick spin and massive spin. A few chaos attack boons and maybe patty’s jerky and everone dies
