Hades II: Laming it out against Chronos with Phoenix Skin

This boon is definitely getting nerfed at some point before release... but until then, I'm using it every time!

Sadly on most runs that -100 health means you can get quickly outbursted. You had a ton of health that's why it was so easy. If you're running aphrodite tho...

Ill be honest, the arcana cards are the one system I have spent the least amount of time looking into. I have no clue what’s actually worth using and have just been going with what feels okay so far.

honestly I think it's either just fine or could be buffed cause this sorta play would be hard to pull off with the time limit fears and having to wait 4 seconds to heal 3hp is pretty dismal when Apollo Zeus can deal thousands of damage with one cast in about the same time

hestia boons also only really pop of when you have weapons who hit fast & alot, to apply stacks. the build he rocked was way to slow for that. hope they buff the stacks hestia boons apply for slower weapons, so she is not a waste for slow builds. that being said, with the regen and some other boons you might be able to create a VERY slow revenge damage build.

@@Onkelcuno Yeah, this was not a build that was meant to make it as far as it did. Got to the sirens with absolutely no synergy and just decided to see how far it would last. If I hadn't ended up with Phoenix Skin right at the end there, it never would have worked out. Still trying to get used to Hestia''s burn, so I'm messing with it on all sorts of builds atm. I really miss Dionysus' poison from the first game so I'm hoping this ultimately fills the same role.

@@TheCthultist Hestia's are probably the worst buffs in the game at the moment, with Zeus being close second. The fact you have to get lucky to get a legendary to have *80 DPS* from scorch when you would normally apply it in hundreds per second (best use case - Staff's special, especially with two shots from the hammer, the fastest spam move in the game). Fire Extinguisher doesn't help either as it maxes out at around 90% and only deletes 300 scorch, leaving the DoT time both small and meaningless. 40 DPS just isn't enough, you can get twice that much from just using daggers and attacking with Aphro's attack boon

@@Onkelcuno That's how gods work. Some are good for fast hitters, some for big shots. Simmilar thing with dioynsus in Hades, just that there was a hard cap and you applied individual stacks rather than damage. Poseidon currently is in the same state, tho he's probably overtuned right now.
