Ryan, Thanks for exposing Hades to a new audience in the U.S. and thanks to Peter for being a great interpreter. If they ever come to the U.S., I hope they play in Atlanta. The perfect venue for them is Atlanta is the Masqurade. One of their showrooms is called Hell.

Thanks Ryan and Peter. Such a fun band of lovely ladies! I've fallen down the Japanese music rabbit hole since discovering Band-Maid (pigeon hole) in 2020. I'm always hungry for news on lots of these talented emerging bands and am doing my best to support them by buying their music and merch where I can. Many thanks from Australia.

I got to see Hades last night. Live House Shishio, Grand Fanale 2023. Hades as well as 8 other wonderful bands. I must say it was the best 8 hours standing and listening to music that I had ever witnessed to date. Hades was amazing, Sala is a star and I made sure I picked up signed Hades as well as Sala’s “ROCK ON !!! solo project. I ended the night with 15 signed cd’s from most of the groups. Small venue, I would guess 50-75 people during the course of the shows. All the ladies are all so nice. Wonderful interview.

Great chat with the Hades ladies & Peter. Thank you Ryan. I met up with Peter at Hades live show in Nagoya recently, they had a show with Hell Dump & Vanishing. I've seen them as Azazel several times and at the moment, just the once as Hades. Hoping to see them again mid 2024.

Peter-san, (around 13:20) "Suisen Nyugaku" (推薦入学) means an admission to a school on recommendation, i.e., without taking an entrance exam. She was admitted to the high school because of her superb percussion skill.

Hades guitarist 空也 (Kūya) said that one of her favorite Japanese bands was "Wands." "Wands" is mostly a J-pop / rock band. They are still around, but their heyday was back in the 1990s. But famed Japanese guitarist Tetsuro Oda used to produce some of their music. And Mr. Oda has his own KZbin channel that might be worth checking out.

Tetsuro Oda is probably most known for his collaborations with Japanese vocalist Nanase Aikawa. Oda has also performed together on stage with Aikawa and Marty Friedman.
