Typically I won’t write reply’s. Habit, anyway, I recommend it, been playing for around a year now. Apart from base dialogue, none of it has ever repeated. I can play for hours with variations and thousands of different conversations. Once I had completed the first, and second main objective, only then had I truly realized the scale of the game. I’ve yet to FULLY complete the game. The story is what has kept playing 9/10.

I absolutely love the song, but a very minor tweak I’d make is changing the line “Now I make ‘em all weak, like I’m Hercules” to “Now I make ‘em all weak, like I’m Heracles”, due to this being set in Greek mythology, with Hercules being the (basically bootleg) Roman version, and this change wouldn’t even affect the rhyming scheme, even ending with the “ēs” sound (Her-cul-EES, He-ra-clEES). Again, minor nitpick, still love the song!

This whole game is my friggin' ambrosia. Greek mythology? Lore-accurate. Character design? HOT AS FUCK. Gameplay? Addictive and challenging, puts interesting twists on the classic base of a roguelike. Soundtrack? IMO Darren Korb's greatest masterpiece yet, and obviously a fantastic inspiration for fan-made songs like this one!!! Can a person be a simp for a game??? I might be a simp for this game. I like the song. Very well done. Two things though. 1. Hades didn’t drive Persephone away. That was just what Zagreus’ thought of his father because of his angst and anger. 2. Zagreus is ABSOLUTELY his father’s son. There is a lot of his father in him. The stubbornness, the strength, the pride, the perseverance, the compassion. All shared between the two.

Both of those things are covered by the fact that this song is from the perspective of zagreus before he makes it out of the underworld for the first time. So he doesn’t know the truth and would deny any connection to his father.

I'm officially SICK of people hating Hades (I mean the god, not the game itself). Zagreus IS his son, he inherited his good features, and there are plenty of them. While (now I'm speaking only basing on the game characters) olympics gods are chillin up there, Hades is working hard for the sake of the underworld. And he has reasons to hate olympians (Zeus especially, there are some dialogues about it). He eventually understands that he wasn't doing it well with Zagreus and he accepts it and apologises. TEAM HADES Anyways, the song sounds good! I love the duet of JT and Andrea, that rocks

Just remember that in the game it wasnt hades who kidnapped persephone, rather, it was zeus who forced the marriage after a single compliment from hades to Persephone. Also persephone and hades gave the relationship a go but only gave up because zagreus literally died right after being born, after that persephone left leaving a polite note to hades about why she left which did not (surprisingly) include anything hades did. That is my only grievance with this song. The fact that the only thing i can criticize is the fact that you went with the real mythos lore and not the game's one SHOWS just how great you guys are, i mean, this song is so good that the only possible valid criticism is weak as that. I have been listening for years and i have seen you guys make amazing songs and bad songs, but that doesnt matter, because no matter what, you kept getting better. You never stop improving so keep up the truely *AMAZING* work. Edit: TLDR this song is such a bop that the only thing wrong with it is a single detail that differ from the game and instead follows the mythos

That's not the real mythos lore. Mythos lore is closer to the game, Hades liked Persephone so he asked Zeus for her hand, Zeus responded by encouraging him to kidnap her so her mother wouldn't find out and gave his blessings to the union as the father. And they remained happily married even after Persephone decided to spend half the year with her mother to stop her from freezing the planet, although some tellings do involve Hades tricking her into it. They are also rather notably one of the only couples in greek mythology that don't have a whole bunch of stories about cheating on eachother, but instead choosing to stay together.

The beggining is amazing! The refreneces is nice. Although the end is a little weaker, yet it's still great! The disrespect of Athena is just... Wow, this man has never played Hades? (THIS IS A JOKE OK? Ok.). Y'know, I just noticed that most song's main charecter has a REAL spunk.The choir sounds like Eurydice, which sound really nice. Last note, it’s Heracles, Hercules is the Roman version.
