As much as I love Patrick Page and him being the original Hades in the show, I honestly believe that Philip Boykin is doing a much better job in the role. The way he’s saying the lyrics and jazzing them up kind of gives me an idea of how enticing, the safety and security that Hades has to offer for Eurydice. I didn’t really get that listening to Patrick in “Hey, Little Songbird”.
