Fun fact: shibam used to be small houses but it stretched throughout the valley and filled it, but because after every rain season the flood would destroy many houses they decided rather than build multiple houses they'd build it upwards and made the passways narrow to make it to stop flooding from entering the city.

Are you from Sweden ? ,the best with oman region close to yemen is salalah city ,its so green and beautiful looks like it shouldn't belong to that area 😀 . My grandfather Muhammad Sahib Mirbat got his graveyard close salalah

@@Eskipsilat No, I'm from Germany. From Munich to be exact. Yes, last year I visited the beautiful city of Salalah and of course Mirbat. I'm almost a bit in love with the two cities. I've learned a lot. For example, how the world-famous irrigation system works. Or Frankincense. I also met a lot of great people.

I have heard there are a lot of Awliya present in Hadramaut. Is it true? Is it a popular belief among the locals?

Yes brother, the Hussaini Syed Hazrat Faqih al Muqaddam R.A. settled in Hadramaut. His spiritual lineage also reaches Holy Prophet s.a.w.s. through Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani R.A. The tariqa in now known as Ba Alawi tariqa. They are responsible for the spread of Islam in Malay Islands. Presently Shaykh Omar bin Hafiz & Shaykh Habib Ali Jifri are well known Shuyookh of this tariqa.

@@syedasimahmads.a brother, you are mixing up ,even though baalawi (bani ali)was a tradition to keep them together its not a tariqa ( a tariqah its a way for coming up to ihsan level through different zikr ,muraqaba,ijaza, etc) Different sheiks had different methods al haddad one ,al saggof one ,al aydarus one etc, a tariqah in known meaning its like naqsabandiya, qadiriyah etc ,they got different manners like how to behave, talk ,with begining they crush the student and build him up from zero. Me self belong to al aydarus family ,I stay in Europe, we got our local zikr only known between us some al aydarus members and some accepted students
