I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living in Cebu City, Philippines. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my KZbin Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
Find that greater purpose in life than just to be happy. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

He is really a good singer. He knows how to play with his voice very well. Although there is pitchy a little bit in his singing, overall it's okay and I really love his rendition very much.

Thats what tokram (jury) said hady vocal better than naqiu but naqiu showmanship better. Hady got more mark on vocal but less mark on showmanship and naqiu vice versa. U can observe from his past performances yes hady more to techinical while naqiu more about emotion. Plus astro have a plan to enter singapore market and with invite hady to join gegar vaganza its help their marketing. Hady himself repeatedly many times he didnt aim to be a winner cause he know a winner cant guarantee their career. He joined gegar vaganza just for a comeback. Hady always be hady, a relax cool and charming. . To those haters can clean their heart. Hady never care about being winner or not please move on..

If you really watch them you will see how abusive Naqiurious is against Hady. They like to bash, insult and talk bad about him which I don't really like it. This has become part of our Malaysian's habit. I don't like how our fellow Malaysian (specifically to fanatic fans like Naqiurious) treat foreigners badly. I don't know why Malaysian always like to argue over small matters then make it becomes a long argument which lead to more fights against each other. If u want to sing "Ku Bersuara" u must apply all vocal registers such as Vocal Fry, Chest Voice, Mixed Voice, & Head Voice. Plus u must do a lot of transition between Chest to Mixed or Mixed to Head Voice. This song require a lot of technique.

Ku Bersuara lg susah nak bawa sbb ia melibatkan penilaian beberapa aspek yg penting spt breathing support kena terkawal, transition mesti flawless dan smooth, vocal control kena bagus sbb kalau slh sikit je blh terkucil and lastly part runs and riffs tu pun kena point and dlm key. If hitting high notes and screaming the lungs out is what you meant by climax or that grand final moment, then I have to disagree with you. Of course you're entitled to your own opinions. But I believe that one doesn't need to always hit high notes and scream to be a good singer. Hady is an example of such a singer. Fauziah Latiff too. As much as I like Ziana's songs, sometimes I wish that she would scream less in her singing. There's a particular performance, when she sang Dingin at AJL. It was straining to the ears because she's struggling to hit the high notes. As audience, it was painful to watch and I couldn't enjoy the performance because screaming became the bulk of her singing. Not every singer can hit those high notes effortlessly like Jac.
