ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

I literally have watched this over 50 times in the last couple of days... Great family she's got there; lots of love there man. I had the opportunity to hear her sing at an open mic night in St. Charles, MO, when she was maybe 13. She sang this song which was impressive, and followed it up with an REO Speedwagon song which I rather enjoyed. I spoke with her Dad who was humble and committed to helping his daughter succeed. At the time, he spoke about getting Ruby to audition for the Voice, which seemed to be in the “dream” stage at the time. I am so thrilled to see that Ruby was able to make it on to that stage. Good things are in store…

Her voice is so pure. Reality television is good for *some* things. I get to stand here in Harlem and listen to this young woman's powerful, and yes, piercing voice. It's doubtful that I would've heard something like this otherwise. Her talent is Undeniable. And only 16 years old. I hope she goes far. I've listened to this 3 times already. Her voice makes me happy.

I was about ten years old when my very prim and proper mother revealed her "okie" and yodeled this song. She was embarrassed , my sister and I would beg her to yodel on special occasions.
