Just beat the game myself. Just so you know, the game has an ending. For now, just focus on researching anything green and anything that looks like it might have a limit. Once a research becomes black, it does not have any unique upgrades. Though there are some that do have a limit. Also, the upgrade pattern for the fabricator items is always in the same order and always uses the same limits. I suggest spending some time improving things in the fabricator. You will reach the point where you should expect your resources to be maxed out whenever you're not actively using them. At that point, power and metal plates quickly become the only resources you need to pay attention to. A final bit of advice. Once all research is black, stop spending time on research and resources until you get stuck. Never let research stagnate but don't wait on it. Same for resources. Invest in increasing the production of resources but don't wait on it. edit: I recommend not investing too heavily in the scanner. It starts of good but turns into complete trash after the initial burst of nodes. No matter how heavily you invest in it.

I’m further in the game than Haelian so I’ll put a spoiler tag here…. SPOILERS BELOW!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . So I have essentially infinite power thanks to solar panels at this point and have all research/fabrications leveled very high. I’m now just trying to explore the galaxy, but am unsure of where to get access codes. 3rd level tech worlds can’t be accessed without the access codes, and I’m just assuming further progression is there. Also, are there any other progression milestones I’m missing? I’ve recently gotten the Decrypter, but I wonder if I’m still missing a whole tab… And I’m assuming I need to decrypt all messages to beat the game.

@@TrulySomeone You can get partial codes from defeating bases. Enemies have a chance of dropping a full access code (possibly only the strongest enemy). Pay attention to any irregularities that show up in your range at the corners. You need to visit all of them. As for your unlocked tab, it's only relevant for story purposes. No progression is tied to it. Only the first and last message are truly relevant to understand things. Everything else just completes the story. I'm trying to stay vague to avoid the need for a spoiler tag. This should be enough to continue.

Get Crankbot maximum up to 20, Active Crankbots set to 10, and research Crankbot Efficiency and Crank. Batteries are massively useful as well. 10 Active Crankbots with decent efficiency is sustainable forever. When you are struggling to keep the Crankbots alive, just disable them and crank yourself. You get out of that phase pretty quickly once you start capping things out. The fabricator tab mass fabrications cap out at 10 upgrades and go infinite, so you don't need to manage the sliders yourself.

@@Nova-_- Yes, Crankbot Efficiency is Crankbot Lifespan and Crank Strength. The actual Crankbot tech is only for making Crankbots and having more Active Crankbots, so ultimately useless once you finish the green techs.

The fact that you dont just research crank and battery a ton so you dont have to babysit the power constantly is so frustrating 🤣 It tell's you how much power stuff use and make, it even shows you if you are making or loosing power up in the corner, but you are still confused 😅 Also if anyone need a drinking game, just drink everytime he says "hmmm" 😎

I might have stopped the first video so I could go play the game without spoilers, and finished it earlier (but didn't find all the stuff). It still has progression pretty far on. Keep watching for new buttons. Sometimes they show up without fanfare. It's got a lot of complexity for a free web game though, quite enjoyed the time waste lol

I was playing this myself, and I got a bug in the scan tab where I had a node for scrap metal AND duranium that wouldn't disappear no matter how many times I collected them. It really helped with my bottlenecks before I fixed them.

Autoboost means it automatically clicks the button again for you. Clicking the button makes you use energy to make the scrap faster. So autoboost trades energy for scrap.

You know that with cranckbots they would make obsolete cracking the crank. You then just have to keep them automatically build and its more efficient than hand cranking

Sorta, until their research is built up, they break too often, putting a serious dent in the power. Solar panels however, are rather overpowered.

@@amnesite3573 Just keep 5 inactive ones in stock. You really shouldn't need to crank manually once you have 10 crankbots. And 5 crankbots should be enough to focus on building up the infrastructure for the remaining 5. Once you reach 15 crankbots, the crank should never drop below top speed.

One other detail to note... Every time a progress bar fills up, it gets a slight speed boost so it'll fill up faster and faster the more you use it. Because of this, it can be a good idea to keep your weapons weak and shield strong so you can fire more times per battle. I mention it because it's not super intuitive.

@@ToyKeeper Doesn't really matter for combat. The moment weapon speed becomes a significant factor, you're already blasting through everything like it's nothing. If you're talking about the weapons that need to be loaded, they turn useless before you even get a chance to really grind them up.

I got sucked into this game after your first video, and finished it the same day. To save yourself some time, don't bother upgrading the scanner much more. It doesn't affect the spawn rate, only the amount of time it takes to sweep to see what is currently spawned. Otherwise, it's hard to go wrong with generating as much power as possible, since it limits the speed of everything else.

in my game after watching part one and commenting i played for awhile but stopped at time to travel and research in 60k and 60 a second useage so i havent beaten the game you need foundation the basics built up for this game to work better upgrade the craft que because eventually it just auto crafts and the max storage its useful crankbots only useful after a few upgrades on both bot upgrades and the crank but i dont need to hold the button beside beside for like 1 extra power the autoboost at least for scrap metal was useless i never turn it on to test for the other resources maybe it is good at low craft speed idk as i dont know if it uses just power or uses resource the boost button uses automatically thus wasting in a test it near instantly blow 200 + power for negligible scrap gain ie i just lost power really fast and didnt gain scrap waste vs clicking the button till i drained 200 power for me around 200 scrap by the time and that was with building other items taking power and scrap like something interesting it craft faster each time it finishes a craft so when your at 1 craft a second or more so i think the boost wastes power by trying to add percentage to late and it finishes and starts the next with no speed up the boost it doesnt stack properly in my experience what it should do is increase the craft speed not try to add craft percentage and be to late is my hypothesis how it worked when i did it i dont know code for sure so idk how it works this was just how it seemed to work dont upgrade the multi crafting until you have a lot more power gain you think same power double resource gain no it is still one for 5 but at two for 10 and so on when your crafting 1 craft a second thats 5 to 10 to 15 + power a second for 3 scrap a second cost a lot with high power kinda useful but when its unlocked not at all

also you dont need to destroy any bots if your max is above the used they just cycle when they break themselves
