I dont get the point of PD removing sprays honestly. The city is a gang filled city, there are going to be gangsters, why do they need to keep removing sprays and taking away from the gang turf update, seems like its only going backwards rather than progressing the server.

Ironically, it seems like they want the gangs to have conflict. Like they want to get rid of gang sprays in certain areas, thus making it necessary to go to war to be at the top gang level. Though CG doesn't care about being at the top gang level anymore due to not getting much for how much it cost to get there. And more the word spreads that being at the top gang level gives you basically nothing, the less people will want to go to war for turf.

There was a problem before the spray system where conflict was almost non existent Now they are making the turf system way too expensive that it again is starting to get to the point where there’s no conflict or is tame. I swear who ever makes these decisions thinks every gang is CG rich when they are not.

I don't think people complain because cops want to have rp in this gang turf update , but because cops cry a lot ooc and admins are scared of low numbers pd and cop quiting the server , so they always bend over and listen to them instead of cops just learning game mechanics and finding a solution in rp , they already have the number advantage and op cheap with no recoil guns , tank cars , op armor , nothing to lose when dying etc , but they still need to cry about nerfing criminals

I agree with Mr. K when he said just clean all the sprays because they've been nothing but a problem ever since they were implemented. The game is becoming more of a war game every day. There is very little room for RP to happen when AI is surrounding the cops and shooting them on sight and people near the apartments or usual RP hotspots get shot if they accidentally bump into someone or punch someone when trying to answer a call or sort inventory (happens all the time to everyone). It's getting harder for the NoPixel civilians to do any RP near the turfs with gang AI present.. And nearly every area is tagged as turf as you can see in this video. There is a rule which says that RP should come before gunplay, so these two things conflict with each other easily because the AI is creating situations where gunplay is the only choice and leaves RP out. People seem to forget that this is an RP server not a capture and hold gang war server.

Bass shows true color when talking to chat, he doesn't think PD is wrong, why nothing gets fixed. He doesn't realize the PD is killing the server, it is becoming a useless grind watching crims get nerfed, even with new city mechanics, and the PD buffed over and over. It's a RP content server, and sorry PD doesn't generate interaction. Cops need civs and crims to justify their RP, otherwise it's paperpush office politics, which is why people log in just for chases and fights, and leave after. So stop driving crims away, eventually you kill the server. Wake up!

Not really, the same twenty people both Baas and Brian were saying were causing them a headache (by their bitching, crying, and complaining IC and OOC) and were responsible for the sprays getting removed by devs OOC (when Brian wanted it worked out IC) would do the same bitching and moaning over "CGPD", threatening to not come on duty or quit the PD until the RP they don't like is forcefully ended and removed from the city, against the wishes of the people actually involved in that RP. Same shit as always, PD complains and within days the devs nerf crims, PD gets mechanical buffs, and SOPs are changed to favor the PD even more than they already do.

Instead of saying that he might be headed to the Bahamas (long used as IC code speak for being OOC banned from the server), he is using different new code speak to avoid saying "Bahamas" which likely falls under the no OOC talk or memes allowed in the city rule that was recently restated by an admin as a warning that they were going to start cracking down on it and handing out bans for anyone violating that rule. So he's saying that his family might be coming to town and he will have to be hospitable and spend time with them, meaning he will not be able to wake up in the city (because he got banned, his family has nothing to do with it other than being a possible excuse for not waking up). And that they might stay for one day, or three days, but hopes they won't overstay their welcome and be there for a week or more (common OOC temp ban lengths are 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, and 30 days). The reason he kept specifically saying Baas' name is because Baas is an admin and may have influence on Ramee receiving a ban for the things he was saying in this meeting that were related to OOC rule breaks (or at least what should be bannable rule breaks), or him stating any criticism of the devs, admins, or rules, as doing so either IC or OOC often gets the speaker a ban for speaking the truth (while the people responsible for the actual problems continue to receive no consequences)).

Imo, crim/cop relations and rp have been declining because of the system of trying to analyze every interaction with a fine tooth comb and balancing things in the DMs with SOP announcements. Now everything feels like an American football play with refs on each side and slowed down by constant deliberations. It doesn’t even feel like rp anymore. Just mechanics and malding. Cop/crim relations should have been allowed to play out organically in court rp, etc… We’ve tried Baas’ way of doing things, and it hasn’t worked out.

Ingame it may look easy, but the developers have a lot more options. Changed AI behaviour and a couple of other options could be another way around it, which is why taking the big discussion OOC is actually the right thing to do... The way developers acted on it ingame, is where you can question it. Admin remove seems like a wasted opportunity for "cleaners inc." coming to town to do it and some of the gangsters selling the sprays contacting them gangs. This is not the last time devs need to mess with them gang-sprays, so you might as well rp it out...

I think the pd should have a spray that makes the gang sprays sorta degrade over time and that spray gets rid of them completely after about a day or two. That way it's sort of a spray war where the pd tries to take down the sprays faster than they go up and the gangs have to keep marking territories to expand but also have to keep a look out of where the sprays have been taken down.
