I see that a lot of people are thinking that the commentators are over complimenting Hafu, but here is the thing, until one month ago she only knew the pieces movements. It is very rare to see someone improve so fast. Her moves are incredible because she should not be seeing those tactics being a begginer in the game. Not that the moves per si are that difficult for any experienced player.

Let's be honest, it's not just hard work (although that's a factor). If you can master so many strategy games so quickly, it has something to do with intrinsic intelligence. I had a friend who was in some local tournaments, I beat him after a few games, learned his tricks. I had some embarrassing losses, but he showed me how to attack from coverage as it seems like a random move and it's only chess after you move your other piece, so basically you get a free move. before that, I was just reacting to moves and seemed mostly random. I still feel it's a bit random to me, and I would be bored memorizing stuff, but now that I watched a few videos I'm sure I would beat some of the people who I played with before.

I always move without long thinking since It could change my mind after thinking more about other Move, also I'm using Feeling and if I won then people would think I don't need to think or whatever but, I just think when You play many time then why thinking of a move that has happen a lot and only think if Its a new move from History of You playing... ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just watched a vid from Hikaru where he was reading and discussing an article that essentially called pogchamps a disgrace to chess where the players were just being laughed at by the commentators. Clearly, the author never watched this or most of the other episodes. This just inspires me. I want to see Hafu improve. I want to see Fintan improve. I just love it. I enjoy watching the SGMs play but I LOVE watching this because I have walked in their footsteps. I am, we all are POGCHAMPS.

I think at 16:00 if hafu had gone and went g5|b5 that would have been better, skewering the rook behind, forcing a trade where black still has advantage, and opening the rook's file if they do go for the trade

I wonder what easywithaces would do against pawn from b7 to b5 at 18:48 because there isn't any really good options for his queen and after moving the queen black will either have the option to force a trade of queens or can attack the queen with the knight opening up the d file for the rook at the same time. At the very least Hafu would get a free pawn on f4 I'm pretty sure.

I think 3 commentators is a bit much While all of them are good by themselves and add decent amount of insight into the game, 3 of them together kinda clutters the audio a bit since it's hard to not talk over each other in these types of situations. Daniel is PogU though, I hope to see more of him commentating in PogChamps
