Hagg Lake Trout Fishing for Big Trophy Trout I Oregon Spring Trout Fishing I First Cast, Fish On!

We decided to hit a familiar location on Hagg Lake at the C-Ramp covered dock where we've had some recent success. The trout were fired up and we had no trouble catching our limit of beautiful, stocked trophy trout. Kailey caught one on her first cast and from that point forward we knew it was going to be a great day. It was a blast on a beautiful spring day in Oregon.

I love hagg lake! My uncle would take us there alot growing up, we lived in Forest Grove it was great… she’s a fill catching machine, nice hook set on #2!! Great videos guys thank you

Yes. I've heard it's a very productive place for nice crappie. We will target them this summer for sure on that dock and hopefully on the boat. 🤙

@@northwestweekenders Yes i'm able now, but been really busy with Work(Labor intensive), no excuses though! I have a big Family Camping and Fishing Trip coming up in Eastern Washington in couple weeks which has some of the our states Best Fisheries for everything! Im so excited already!

We've been figuring out how to get them here recently but trust that we still have our bad days. With the weather heating up and the water temperature rising, the fish have been nuts the last couple days. The bite is on!

Wish the water was that high now. That pier has been entirely out of the water for probably 3 months. Was just on the water 11/5 thinking the water would be coming back up but, that pier was still way out of the water.

Looks like a healthy batch of trout. Doing Carolina rig? When I tired my 1 time at Hagg it kept getting in grass. And lets see some river content.🙂

It's coming when time allows. We just bought a house and are expecting our first child soon, plus running a new business. I promise we will get there eventually. I know you want to see Salmon/Steelhead but what else particularly?

Yes, Carolina rig with long leader. Never have much trouble with grass but suppose it depends on where you're fishing on the lake.
