Haida Gwaii Fishing Trip - 2017

A short video about my recent fishing trip to Haida Gwaii. Big thanks to our captain Jean Marc! We ended up with 8 ling cod, 4 snapper, 2 halibut, 8 coho, 2 spring and 1 pink salmon. It was a helluva day! Let me know what you think and if you have any questions post in the comments section below!

That's hilarious, I was raised in Haida gwaii, I fished that ocean and those rivers my whole childhood. I miss it out there sometimes. It was so easy to get into the wilderness, not so easy anymore though.

@@MindfulHunter I do too, I'll spend my older years on that island. But for now I'm stuck in Vancouver. It's a little hidden gem that no one really seems to know about, so I'm always surprised to see when people are being there.

Honestly, this is the BEST Haida Gwaii fishing video i have ever seen. The music is awesome!. I leave in a couple weeks to the island for 2 weeks & this video gets me pumped. One question i have is how do I track down your guide you used?

The first song is called Bad Habits 1 by Gavin Luke and the second song is called Down In The Dirt by Niklas Ahlstrom. I got them from epidemic sound. Its a media site for youtube creators etc.
