Glad you're enjoying it, I binged it when Game of Thrones Season 6 wrapped up and there was a void to fill. Vikings had me hooked.

Although incorrect , most the stuff based on historical facts. Rollo, for instance, starts off the Normandy branch of Vikings - and his descendant was William the Conquerer… so the UKs history very much intertwined with the Vikings

I get what you're saying about the Earl, he was definitely a bad man, but then again you kinda have to be to rise to that power, and to stay in power. In the end he accepted the challenge, knowing full well it might mean his death, and he did go out a warrior. I watched this movie, Shot Caller (2017) where a normal family man (played by the actor who was Jamie Lannister in GoT) makes a mistake and winds up in California state prison, and once inside it's a different world with different rules, and you either sink or swim.

It's such a shame the promotion for it didn't really get a wider spread, I was completely unaware of the movie's existance until just last year (I think) when a movie commentary of it was recommended to me on here, and it peaked my interest. After watching the movie I was actually a little angry that I almost it.
