I have no idea how The Female of the Species didn't get more attention. It was probably the book that affected me the most because it was very real in how they dealt with rape culture. I wasn't a huge fan of With Malice, it was a quick read and it was ok but the pay off was just kind of lame. I was really excited about that book, so it was a bit disappointing. Great picks though overall! There were two I haven't read, so I will have to check them out!

Dipper Pines I read about 3/4 of the first book and then put it down for 3 or 4 months and for some reason I couldn't make myself finish it, not that it was bad it just didn't grab me. does the 2nd book get even better? should I pick it up again?

I really didn't like this one. I thought it would be amazing for me, it's right up my alley but I struggled really hard to push through it. Maybe I should attempt the second book if it gets better.
