I took forensics in college for a year and almost wanted to major in it myself if science didn't hate me, and I can honestly say from an academic standpoint that the Stalking Jack the Ripper series is so accurate to forensics. I'm 70% done with Escaping from Houdini and I have an awful theory as to who the killer is and I really hope I'm wrong, but I still am in love with this series anyway

In regards to Halloween being "Just Around the Corner," Hailey has been "Pulled" in a new direction toward the holiday because "When You're and Addams," you "Move Toward the Darkness" and read books by authors who are "Crazier Than You." I'm sorry, I had to do it. I'm obsessed with the Broadway soundtrack for the Addams Family right now, lol! Also, yes, A Great and Terrible Beauty is set in the Victorian era. :)

I am just reading Sadie and I love it so far. I think the way it’s narrated is so cool and unique and it’s perfect to get into the Halloween atmosphere. Also, everything you recommend ends up on my shelves after some time 😅👍🏻

As per your recommendation, I decided to pick up The Hazelwood" since it seemed intriguing (and it has a beautiful cover un my opinion) I'm halfway through and so far I am loving it!
