Regarding The Greek Theater, Neil Diamond recorded a live album there in 1972 called “Hot August Night”. At one point he gives a shout out to the people hiding in the trees “Tree people I’m playing for you too!”

I had the longest dream about Haim at the weekend. By the way, long time fan here, since about 2012. We hung out in Ljubljana and I was trying to show them where I was from on KZbin and nothing worked-the keyboard, or I couldn’t type or the internet wouldn’t connect... It was a nightmare and it seemed to last for hours. But we managed to hang out which was really cool.

I worked on the movie Purple Rain, on the scenery crew and painted ALL the locations too. A whole lot of stories there, esp. about dancing at First Avenue, super briefly, with PRN, and the only way to "get close" to him... ...was to be a oxy dealer. Really, he would not talk to anyone. Sad yet let this be a warning to you gals, all those mad dance moves and jumps he did required some major pain relievers, and this addiction took him from us, early on.
