I had only heard their name but never their music. After the Grammys last night, I was instantly a fan. These girls are incredible and they write amazing rock n roll. And they fucking saved the Grammys which were a total suck fest as usual. Seeing their musical tastes and how passionate they are about what they love is just icing on the cake. They rule!

Cool choices. Gerry Rafferty, Joni Mitchell, Donna Summer, Bulgarian choir, Batucada… ABBA is in the RnR HOF and I don't have a problem with that. Were they rock and roll? Not really except for "Waterloo", but always brilliant pop music. Wish there were more young musicians like Haim. It's ok to embrace "cheese" when it's for the right reasons. Sometimes they're just good songs. Check out the original version of Ace of Base' "Don't Turn Around" recorded by Tina Turner!!
