80's yes, but 90s that's debatable. - depends on how much more metal you like in your hardcore punk. I thought the Raw Deal demo ripped. Thought were gonna be the next Sick of It All. = Blood sweat and no tears - vein. Then both bands started experimenting with more metal riffs, and more metal breakdowns and got slower than their first releases, when I lost interest.

LYRICS! Anybody got a lyrics sheet to this - I kinda remember the lyrics to "Wall Of Hate" - my fave song from this set. I was real lucky to see them (from a coveted stage right security spot) @ Irving Plaza - THEY KILLED IT, but they really didn't have enough songs for a full set, so everyone was like, "Yo, play "Wall Of Hate" again!". I have never seen a pit go crazier than the second time they played that song. Thanks to whoever put this up - you did everyone a REAL favor! THANKS! REALLY!

Great Hardcore them Sick of it all Breakdown Outburst And many other bands of the late "80", s and early " 90", s were great. Started going to shows in "1986" and seen a lot of Hardcore shows in N.Y. at The Wetlands C.I.H. Bond street cafe CBGB's and other clubs always had lots of fun it was a very strong Scene and 90℅ of the people I met and seen were cool! The shows back then were anywhere From $2.00 to $12.00 depending in which club you went to and most shows I went to there were always 3 to 6 or even some 7 bands that were on the bill that day. Especially Matinee shows on Sunday.
@stephanierusso-perkins85703 жыл бұрын
Sunday matinees were the best venues and in NJ the American legion and v.f.w. shows always had a ton of bands on the bill for like 5 bucks at the door I miss those times

One of the few bands from that era that were exceptional. Great riffs and great lyrics and at times I would laugh at how pissed off the lyrics were. Hardcore has a lot things you can laugh at in hindsight. Why did they change their name to Killing Time? I think it was bad move and a shitty name. When bands change their name, especially when they are gaining in popularity it's always usually a bad move. Most of those NYHC bands were a dime a dozen and I rarely go back and listen to them. Back in the late 80's when these bands were relevant I would listen to a lot of NYHC, Metal, Punk, and the NO Wave NYC was high on my list. I was pretty diverse so NYHC bands was big on my playlist for a couple of years. I landed on Noise Rock and stayed in that genre for years. I'm just blabberin.. My small list of NYHC bands I still listen to every now and then Nausea / Agnostic Front / GB / SIDEBYSIDE / Sheer Terror / Warzone / Cro-mags / Raw Deal / Born Against (really not a NYHC band but I can't think where else to throw them) and same goes for Rohrshack.
