Thank you so much!!!! I do follow the blowout professor and use a headband and shower cap in my shower. This was very helpful. The only thing I cannot do is use a high-end shampoo every time I wash. I use Kirkland Shampoo and Pureology for every other wash. I also bought Moroccan Dry Shampoo as he suggested. If you have a alternate shampoo please lets us know . I am retired and am on a budget.

OMG….72 years young here and you just taught me a “new trick”! Today , when I blow dried my hair, I used my less dominant hand on the side that always flips out instead of softly turning under. What the flip??. Truly the result I have always struggled to get. I adore you, Gabi. I appreciate that you speak to all ages and you cover so many topics we all deal with. Fantastic content in this one. Love the collab. Thanks from my heart for all you do and how you value us ladies with a few more candles on our birthday cake.❤💄

Very good info! I was the one-"my hair won't grow! (As I'm Having to do my roots every 5-6 weeks!) Chris's advice and product recommendations have changed my hair and the way I care for it. So thankful-he is so right about getting the good stuff. You pay more for the better stuff but lasts way way longer-like he said! I still have much of mine left-amazing

With Living Proof dry shampoo, it works great to spray the roots in oil prone areas immediately after drying as a preventive. Then for days 2+, spray the roots the night before and fluff the roots upside down with low heat from the dryer.

Finally another person eg Gaby even suggested preventing the ends from breaking of by keeping them hydrated, why do no hairdressers suggest this first, rather than these frequent 6-8 week trims? Biggest myth I’ve ever been told and believed.. currently 6 inches of growth with no trims in a year from the trinity hair care routine, thanks Chris!

There is an influencer who is a Trichology student. She shares the studies that coconut oil does indeed benefit the hair. One of the uses she recommends is applying it to lengths and ends as a pre-shampoo treatment to protect the hair from the hair from hydral fatigue because it is the only oil that penetrates through the hair shaft. The key to washing it out thoroughly is to use a shampoo with sulfates. I have been doing this for the last few months and my hair absolutely loves it. And so do I! Anyhow, thanks so much for doing this video! I follow you both and always learn so much from you! 😀

I have a possible answer to Andra regarding hair turning out one side better one side worse. Maybe you already do it, but I found this impacting heavily. While you do one side, the other side is either resting in a bun, or resting in any other form. So while you do the first side, the other side loses some amount of water from air drying and from the heat that graces over the sitting side. So, if you do not rewet the waiting side to the same level as the first side, that side will certainly look different at the end, less smooth and more frizzy. This may be your solution 🤗

Wow, this is the first time on KZbin I’ve heard a stylist say blow dry brushes aren’t for everyone! I’m a retired stylist and I tried, but realized my technique with a round brush & dryer still works the best. Especially hearing that coarse, thick hair does not get good results otherwise. Thank you for this video, it was a great “brush” 😅 up course for me.

Gabi, I want to thank you so very, very much for the gifts from this video! I have learned so much from watching your videos and so appreciate you as a teacher and as a person. As a woman who finds herself in the "mature" stage of life (not having a clue how I got here!) I love how you show us how to appreciate our age and improve upon how we look without seeking to change ourselves. Personally, I have been through so much and have earned every single line and grey hair that I have. I don't seek to erase the years, but at the same time, I don't always want them to scream out!!! Hahaha. Thank you for your humor and joy in life. You are one amazing woman.

I’m listening to your comments about coconut oil and I had to put in my 2 cents. I’ve heard that those specific problems that you mentioned: being hard to get out, causing protein overload, only happen to people with finer hair types. I have very coarse, high porosity hair and I LOVE using coconut oil. Yes, I know that Chris once called “high porosity” a marketing term on his channel, but I promise you some people, like Dominicans and Puerto Ricans have genetically porous hair. Coconut oil really penetrates into my hair strands and doesn’t leave a heavy coating. So, for anyone who might be watching with coarse, unruly hair, try coconut oil, not the raw and thick kind, find a liquid version, don’t ever put raw oil in your hair if you don’t want gunky hair!

The Bondi is much less expensive than Drybar and does a really good job. Hope that might help you a little I have hand issues too. 😻

You are so welcome, Sylvia! I completely agree the community is so helpful and supportive. I’d definitely recommend you try the Smaller Bondi Boost (they have a larger size brush so be sure to get smaller one) because it’s very easy in the hands and with different heat settings it’s easy on fine, thinning hair like ours.
