No. I haven't been to a salon for any tpye of hair color in over 10 years. I typically give myself a few highlights, once a year, on the crown of my head and around my face. But one thing that's really cool is that some of my silver hair grows out in chunks. The crown of my head is pretty dense, but in other places I still have some natural hair color. So when my chunks of silver grow out, after I've touched up my roots, the color lightens a bit and it ends up looking like highlights. I'm telling you, going silver has made coloring my hair at home SO SIMPLE!! When my hair grew in darker, is was A LOT more complicated! 🤗❤️

I always leave my hair color on my silver for at least 45 minutes. Sometimes even up to an hour. Especially when the product I'm using deposits color more than lifts. 😊💋

How long was the outgrowth period before you used this? 2 weeks, 4 weeks etc ... I've been all natural going on 7 years and I've got waist length hair that is all salt / pepper but for the first time contemplating on going back to color and more than likely blonde but I know I'll be in the chair every 2 weeks ...... Ugh...have been contemplating doing my own hair for years, and continue to way overpay by going to a salon. I was blonde (for years), but I went darker just a week ago. I think I would have to go blonde first (professionally) again, before trying this product. Will definitely keep it in mine though because I love that is more natural than other products. Yes, you would probably want to start out blonde or silver. I don't think this product, in this shade, will lighten darker hair colors. But it does a fantastic job on silver hair!! 😊💋

New sub! Love the color! I just saw this today at my local CVS and I really want to try it. I love the fact that it is cruelty free, vegan, etc. I really want to Lighten my existing medium blonde hair to a lighter blonde. Because there's not all the junk in it. I am thinking of trying it. I don't wanna fry my hair. If anyone has used a light blonde color can they tell me if your hair came out nicely? or was it brassy? and did it fry your hair? I've always used natural instincts the temporary dye but I could never get my hair light enough .it feels very good and does not fry my hair because there's no ammonia of course but it's only 36 shampoos and I can't achieve the light blonde hair for the summer that I would like.Thank you for the review excellent job!
