I'm a Black woman, and yes, I've noticed Tianna's hair. What I noticed is that it is soooooo thick and healthy, and it's long too. Because of the texture and curl pattern, her hair shrinks easily when wet. If a blow dryer is used to dry and straighten it, her true hair's length will be in the middle of her back. She had very little hair when they got her and it was obvious nothing was really done with it. Look at it today. Mom has taken very good care of her hair. I love it!

Adding heat should be delayed as long as possible. We’re so quick to want to straighten and fry our hair instead of just letting it be naturally. Tiana’s hair isn’t a straight texture like her Mom’s, obviously, so it shouldn’t necessarily be straightened just to make it appear longer.🤔

I’ve noticed Tianna’s hair is moisturize, extremely healthy, and it’s well taken care of. 👏🏾 Major props to Rhianna, for taking the time to do it, and pouring love into her while she’s getting it done! Her hair growth, and her behavior while getting it done, is proof that she’s use to it. That doesn’t occur overnight. Her mother consistently combing her hair, and doing cute styles, allowing her to adjust to the routine is beautiful to witness! I’m black, and my hair has always been extremely long. My mother would sit me between her legs, and do it each week. From the hot comb, and crying from the frustration of having to sit still, truly built a bond with memories that can’t be replaced! Obviously a little girls first love is her father… John’s constantly uplifting Tianna, and flooding her with compliments!!! I love spending the time with her running my fingers through her hair that I am totally obsessed with! As we sit to detangle, moisturize and style her hair, I pray we develop the relationship you mention. I am in awe of Rhianna and come here for a confidence boost that I as a white mom am doing my job developing my amazing black daughter’s self confidence and identity. As a transracial family, we live our lives as who we are not seeing our color difference because it is just our everyday life, however we know the world sees it and my job is to give my children all they need to live in that world. I look forward to getting into a career of Real Estate Development and Residential/Commercial Real Estate Investing.
