HAIR DYE TO AVOID! Purple colour freedom hair dye

Is this the worst hair dye ever??
Ahh i wish i hadn't bothered and stuck with blonde roots! So i got this as an in between dye until my Arctic fox arrived and everything is now oink, i'm pink, my shower is pink, my hands are pink, ears, bed clothes, t-shirt collars, you name it, its pink!!
I thought id share my experience with you guys, just in case it helps anyone looking for a good hair colour to use.

I've used this colour loads, possibly you used too much? It does run slightly but defo not that bad!

I’ve just used the red version of the colour freedom and I’m having the same issue!! There is red everywhere!! But it’s such a lovely colour and the tube was huge, would be amazing if it wasn’t for the amount of transfer 😩

I've always used their mystic purple as it usually always washes out my hair really quickly. However this time it just won't budge. I dyed my hair with it about 3 months ago and it hasn't faded at all no matter how much I was my hair

Oh no, that’s so strange, to be fair though the colour has stayed in my hair, I decided not to dye over it and wait till my next root touch up abs the colour is sticking around it just transfers onto things which is annoying.

literally same but with indigo. have no idea how to get it out and im starting school on wednesday, have just tried hair colour remover, vitamin c with shampoo, etc and its still there

long shot but i’m having this issue right now i’ve had this colour in for 6 months 2 rounds of colour remover and a ton of clarifying shampoo and it’s not going anywhere, any advice that you remember ???

💓 have you ever tried the hair brand Good dye Young? It's by Haley Williams the lead singer of Paramore. That's the custom hair color that I go get at Sally's beauty in the US.

Cut open your Arctic fox with knife or something so you can scoop what's left out and put it in a pot or add it to conditioner 😊 I use the directions colours, I really like it so far! Have you used directions?

Yeah I’ve resorted to that a couple of times now, I had Red hair years ago and it was directions! Lasted ages!

Thank you, I need to try Arctic fox. Been using colour freedom as a too up color and you absolutely must use gloves and Vaseline your ears and forehead as well as scrub the bathroom, least it dye everything. And your right it transfers everywhere. I just assumed all semi permanent dye did this! The color is nice, and at it's cheap. I like that you can keep the color in the bottle and just use half, but I find it fades really quickly.

Aw I hope AF works well for you! Yeah I know there is always a degree of transfer at first but this was crazy 😂 I love the packaging, I honestly wish more colours were like this, so much easier to use!

I always use Arctic fox and found the shipping to be really quick, it only takes 2/3 days. I don’t mind paying the $12 shipping cause I haven’t found anything like it in the UK

Yep, Arctic Fox is my go to! It really is the best I’ve tried and the smell is so amazing!

... gloves and towel on the pillow will help, make sure you rinse It properly, and nail Polish remover gets hair dye off of surfaces

Yeah I just find it a waste using gloves just to wash my hair and it would literally stain my hands whenever I touched it. I know and love the nail polish remover trick, I have loads being a nail tech so comes in handy,

In the nicest way, I think you may of used it wrong, I've been using this for a good few years especially that colour and haven't had a problem with the transfer that bad ESPDCIALLY with that colour?? I'm sorry it didn't work for you!

I’d imagine it works differently for different people, I have been dying my hair for a very long time and I followed the instructions on their box as it’s always best to use a product as instructed. The colour was everywhere, I’ve never had such transfer. As with everything though, people can have different experiences doesn’t mean I used it wrong.

I think your hair is too damaged to hold the colour. I treat my hair always before and after coloring and use colour freedom colors since 2 years and this never happend. Maybe try to get your hair healthier and wash out cleanly to get the colour that's over in your hair out of your hair.

I used this as a in between as I was waiting for Arctic fox, my hair condition is fine and never have this problem with AF. Some dyes just transfer a lot.

@@lu-ok7on Maybe, but like i said, my hair has never been in better condition. For something that’s usually used over pre lightened hair is just have expected not to have it transfer quite so much, glad you like it and it works for you though

Arctic Fox, I use violet dream but if I want lasting power I’d go for purple rain and it fades out to violet dream anyway, but my roots come in so fast anyway I re do it every 8 weeks or so
