I use both sides if I'm alternating colours ,so I know which colour is in which foil.

I just came across this video looking for something specific about foil, and while I didn't find what I was looking for while slightly fast-forwarding with captions on, I had to stop and listen on your explanation on why foil was priced and treated differently in the past than it is now. Seriously, that was fascinating. Especially for someone like me who loves learning facts like that. So thank you for taking the time to add that. Definitely going to subscribe simply because of the care you seem to take making these videos for your viewers.

Thank you for this video!! Here in Brazil we really don't use as much aluminium foils as americans use! mostly we use the paper attatched with aluminium foil which is more harder, so it's easier to apply the product!

I like medium embossed..but I have many colors and weights in my collection. Fun fact...Popular Behind the Chair colorist and educator, Beth Menardi said she uses the colorful foils from the candy manufacturers because they're thinner. I get angry trying to use use light foils, but that made me laugh when I heard her say that, years ago. I love Framar foils, and I live for theur new colors. It makes coloring even more fun, and my clients love when one session they're rose gold and the next they're rainbow or black, or magenta, or gold. (The holiday gold ones are so pretty!)

I was waiting to the ending of your video to hear if it was same thing I learned 20 + years ago that and when foils comes with some textures and one side opaque and the other side is shiny is to be used: opaque side for bleaching application and shiny side because the texture side for color application ( lowlights) 🤷♀️

Great video, quite interesting as I have wondered if there’s a best side and if I was using it, all I’d say is the Matt side is a little more textured for the colour to hold to, I’ve started using framar pop up foils too they’re more textured for grip and lighter but still strong, I’d recommend them to all and say to get a tester pack some places offer for free x

Then at being your best you learn then that you really didn’t know much else except how to be the exceptional you really are! regardless of that hater gravity over time and stage 5 clinger wrinkles that bring more and Much later by then hopefully you have learned and how much too much is (typically in death) and by that time early bird special is late! So make the most of it I’ll be rooting for ya. I will eventually join your classes. Maybe before my character lines change lanes!
