I apologize that I forgot to explain how to use the hair oil in the video. I use about a dime sized amount and massage into my scalp after washing and leave in. Those with oily hair and skin may only want to apply before bed and wash out in the morning. Also, no, I do not sell the joint and muscle rub nor the hair oil but the video links on how to make them yourself are available in the description box.

It is good to understand how our language can be misused and nonsensical sometimes even. Recently, however, blood work has proven that most all have plastic in our body, and almost no food can be guaranteed to be 100% organic anymore. But, I definitely trust what you grow or forage, Heidi, and feel you are doing your best due diligence to be accurate and honest.

Castor oil is one of your main oils. Castor oil penetrates deeper than the other oils. I do infuse with castor oil. It infuses much better than the others. It is the best oil to use. I make a shampoo bar that is made with tallow, castor oil, rosemary and the other herbs you named. I love everything you do. You are very knowledgeable about all you do!!!!

In India they oil hair for hair every night they will use either some commercial oil or home blends coconut, sesame,olive infused with herbs it's also diet is why hair grows something that they are eating and genetics could also play a role just mix oil and herbs cording to scalp that's where the oil goes and hair needs.

I'd started losing my hair more than I'd consider normal. I had recently begun taking more Vit D, so I went back to the previous amount and also made an oil mixture that I use a few times a week of castor oil, jojoba oil and rosemary, tea tree, and lavender essential oils. I now have less loss than I did prior to increasing the Vit D, so I believe the oil is helping. I'll add sage, peppers and nasturtium to the next batch.

Hi Heidi, I really appreciate your expertise and videos. I have learned so much from you and you have inspired me to create a hair oil and muscle rub. I’m menopausal now and my hair is thick and healthy from my oil. For my hair oil, I use all castor oil with selected herbs(rosemary, nettles, peppermint, sage, fenugreek seed, lavender, Eve primrose etc), and I’ve gotten EXCELLENT results from the castor oil based hair oil and so have my customers. What I like to do is infuse the herbs in castor oil for at least a month or more, just like you suggest at least 1 mo in my cabinet. I shake and rotate it everyday. Sometimes for a day or so I will let it infuse in the sun. It comes out a nice and rich color. You have DEFINITELY inspired me and I’m sorry to hear that someone is trying to give you grief about organic. Keep doing what you’re doing because you are awesome!!!

You do not have to buy all the herbs I used, you can just use one if t hat is all you have. Could I use dehydrated cayenne pepper in the hair growth oil instead of red pepper flakes?
@RainCountryHomestead11 күн бұрын
You can as that is what I started with but keep in mind it is much harder to strain out, if that matters to you, and it can form in a big hard clump at the bottom of your jar. This is why I switched to the flakes

Possibly but I believe it is the flowers that are more beneficial to hair growth. Also, you can simply leave them out and use the other herbs you have even if it is just one or two. These are just some of the options. If you go to the main video linked in the description, I show even more.

I have a question regarding what kind of Vitamin d3 you took. Was it synthetic d3 and did it have k2 in it?
@RainCountryHomestead11 күн бұрын
No and yes I took it with K2 and I have tried a couple of different brands with the same results. Also, K2 is virtually useless in supplement form but it is most commonly found in the same foods that D3 is found it combined the way they should be
@lilycardoso467911 күн бұрын
You're the first person i've heard say vitamin d three makes their hair fall out, but like you say everyone is different. I'm taking 10000 IUs of Dr. Berg's vitamin d3 w/k2. I am also taking weem hair vitamins, and an oil called hair envy by vitality. I'm seeing hair growth at my temples, but not on top.
@RainCountryHomestead11 күн бұрын
@ I am most certainly not the only one. My youngest son (almost 30) was losing a lot of hair while taking D3 supplements so I told him to cut back or stop and it stopped falling out in great amounts when he did. I have also read on at least to D3 promoting sites that too much can cause hair fall, I have also had at least a couple ladies reach out to me with similar stories and yet another I found who shared something similar on another website. There really is such things as too much D3 when talking supplements but not when getting it from whole food

The joint and muscle rub I make and mentioned in the video as well as linked to the several videos about it in the description is what we use and I do not use olive oil in mine but even if I did, you could always use whatever oil that are best for you to infuse your herbs and spices.
